Count me in too brehs,After peeping game on NBA2k and Modding I want to join in on the Fun(*Imagines Fallout Modded up*:wow: )
I want to Update but Im kinda on a Budget but Ill look up the Top Notch Stuff,I need:
CPU Upgrade
RAM
Video Card
CPU Speed Upgrade

The thing is breh if you're serious about your Oblivion/Fallout/Skyrim then you gotta play it on PC. Bethesda realise that the community actually MAKES the games what they are and as such they make it very easy to create new mods. I have about 20 different mods right now for New Vegas but the difference in gameplay/performance/visuals is :lawd:. They have made it much easier than ever to mod as well with the Nexus Mod Manager, it's literally 2-3 clicks and you're good to go. You're shooting yourself in the foot as a gaming fan if you're not playing on a PC.

A Quick Question,How do I know if the Components are Compatible? I know I cant get any ol Video Card or it might not work rite:mindblown:

the main compatibility issues are with the cpu and the motherboard

you might have to upgrade the psu (power source) as well

what are you working with?

I need a new CPU/Mobo/RAM combo. Any suggestions for 400 or less? Maybe 5.

Well if you have a Micro Center near you can get the following combo for $264.98.

Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz LGA 1155 Processor
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard

Just be sure to go to Micro Center if one is near you since not only do they price match Newegg and Amazon, but they also drop $50 off the price of any Z77 Mobo combo'd with an Ivy Bridge 1155 K series chip.

There's plenty of other combo's that will be under $400.
Memory though can be found pretty much anywhere for a good price. I usually just go with Corsair since they offer that crack RMA service if need be.

Nice. Good looking out. I have an MC about an hour away. I still have to save up some funds before I pick this up so I'll prob get at you again to see if you have some new suggestions at the time.

The part that sucks about PC gaming is that i'm always itching to upgrade something. shyt is almost like owning a car that you're constantly working on. :noah:

I'm about to be like Tim Allen in Home Improvement with that hot rod in the garage :pachaha:

Tell me about it. I've accounted for about $3400 on my main rig alone so far. Not even sure what the real number is now.

What do you want to play? Its probably best just to build a dirt cheap amd build with a decent 5000 series radeon and it will smoke your laptop. You can do it for $300

I want to paly battlefield 3 on ultra without the game slowing down. My CPU is barely flinching running the game yet it still studders. My ram is at 8 gigs. The issue can only be the GPU which improves when i run afterburner but is still not sufficient. I need to be able to play on my laptop.

What laptop do you have? And what external GPU are you looking at? I haven't seen one in years
