Why are you in such a rush? With all the tweaking you do you probably won't enjoy it for another 5 days after that :russ:

if you are lucky :troll:
Add two months with all the game breaking bugs that are usually there on a Bethesda launch day :lupe:

Yeah? Where is your DVD drive at though? :stopitslime:

I'll admit I jumped the gun a bit and ordered the case before I even realized it didn't have a spot for a disc drive. Then at that point I was just like :manny:

There are external drives right? That can read and write?

Yeah I couldn't even think of a practical reason I'd need a disc drive. Games, music, install files, it's all digital now. Worst case, I'll just get a different case if it really comes down to it. :yeshrug:

Nah, just get a cheap external instead. I got a dvd drive and only used it like once. They really are obsolete. They're cheap as shyt though. I think mine was like $25

I never skimp on motherboards or psu.

What is your budget? Are you going skylake?
$650 (Atleast for this month)

Looking at

ntel Core i5-4570 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1150 84W BX80646I54570 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics
Intel Core i5-4570 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1150 84W BX80646I54570 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics - Newegg.com

$199

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-3973-KR 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card
$299

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-3973-KR 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card - Newegg.com

And

ASRock H97M Pro4 LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock H97M Pro4 LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com
$70

I just wanna tryna do the responsible thing and kinda of split this shyt out over 2 month, thus why I only wanna spend $650 this month :russ:

I'm pretty sure the video card upgrade will be enough for me to see a major improvement with being able to play CS:GO which would be fine with me.

I know i'm also gonna need a new case as my current case would be too small, and new PSU,and new fan/heatsink for the new CPU. I plan on using my current RAM which is why i'm searching for DDR3 motherboards. Thinking I might just get the videocard, new PSU,new case this month, and then next month get the new motherboard, everything else and possibly move upto a i7. :jbhmm:

I'd probably switch out that EVGA 970 with the MSI Gaming one. It's the LITE version, but its $299 and you can overclock the hell out of it if you willing to that. It also has a $20 rebate.

Your cpu is your bottleneck by far. A $200 solution will have your current computer maxing out games
