Is your 970 holding up well? Are you able to get a solid 144 fps? I can't imagine what that looks like

I didnt check fps but i played 5 games in battlefront after and did exceptionally better than i ever have

Everything seemed crystal clear and way smoother and I never knew the importance of 1ms til I saw a youtube video of 1ms vs 6ms i believe. You literally see shyt 0.5 seconds before someone with a slower monitor does. So you get the jump on them before they do you

I fly the jets in battlefront a lot and storm troopers blend in with snow but with the new monitor i could see them clearly

And with the lower monitor response time i was winning air dog fights that i would normally use

Probably gonna buy another one in a month or two so i have matching monitors

Nah, I go for the Ks. I don't play games competively, so I'd rather go with higher resolution. I have 3 1440p Dell monitors, which lets me play at 6K in some games. They're all 60hz. I also have a 4K tv, but I don't play on that much (the jump from 1440p to 4K isn't that big to justify the fps drops). Now 3 monitors in surround is worth the fps drops. Nvidia 900 series cards have a bug in them when you try to play in 6K, so I can only do it for a handful of games. Still, when it works, it's

6k tho Oh yeah even though i own 3 monitors i have 2 plugged in and only game on 1 at 1080p. But the leap from 60hz to 144hz was crazy i wasnt expecting that much

Yeah, I'm back at 60hz and I'm still . I went through 2 165hz 1440p ips monitors and I'm still trying to find one with horrendous ips glow. 144hz+ is so buttery smooth.

Wait for broadwell e in the next few months. 10 core 6950X, 8 core 6900K, 6 core 6850K, 6 core 6800K. 4 i7 skus.

Not worth selling my 5960X to get the 10 core. But I am intrigued about the two 6 cores. I hope one of em will the full 40 lanes.
