In a few weeks I'm gonna cop a desktop for gaming. Thing is, I don't have neither the patience nor time to piece one together. Any of yall have any recommendations. I'm trying to keep my spending around $800 not including the moniter.

Do you know anyone who can put it together for you? That is the best route to take. Ask around on craigslist and check local shops, some should be willing to do it for about $100.
DO NOT buy Windows from them, tell them you are going to install Linux and then get Windows on your own.

Yo, if you purchased a gtx 970 or up from jet.com, recently. You can get rise of the tomb raider for free my nikka. All you got to do is hit up zotac's support (i did an online chat). Tell them you bought your card recently, and you heard about the promotion for tomb raider and you didn't receive any code or anything. They'll ask you for your invoice (i just used a jpeg of the website confirming my order), and maybe your phone number. Then they'll hook you up. You might want to register with them before hand, and register your card on their site because doing so within 30 days of your purchase gives you a 3 year extended warranty, from day of purchase.

damn, you should try to get it from zotac, and if everything goes ok, either sell the steam code or some shyt, or try to return the one you got, and get your money back..................... I already bought it...........
I wish there was a way to trade games on Steam. I seriously want to get rid of that fukking Tomb Raider game. I should've waited and bought either The Witness or Firewatch smh.

after i bought "Goat Simulator" while drunk, i have taken much more care in my purchase decisions.
Intoxicants and steam don't mix well. I've made some stupid purchases myself.
If I get this new job I applied for, I'm about to do something real crazy PC wise.
