I have 2 external hard drives (one for videos, and one for backup). The video hard drive doesn't boot when I start up my computer, but the backup one does. That backup hard drive is really slowing down my start up times. How can I make it so that hard drive doesn't start up when I boot up?
in your bios you should be able to change the order of, and/or remove, drives it looks for the OS on
I dunno what to do
i know I know, it's only 26 second difference, but still]). I have no idea what is happeningI tried disabling it, but it didn't work. Then I unplugged the drive and windows wouldn't load. My computer seems to think this hard drive is the OS drive, when it clearly is notI dunno what to do

unplug your external and only hood it up when you need to use it.

and this is what im looking to upgrade to:
Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K RAM Experts
I've never actually replaced a processor so im looking for yall's expert opinion, will this work?![]()
if nothing else, I like GeForce Experience for the suggestions. I was having issues with Batman Arkham City, and it suggested using dx9. I thought that was weird, but sure enough the problems went away (after reading up more on it, I guess dx11 is kinda broken in that game)
it doesn't support many games though
Yes it will work. Don't have a Micro Center near by? You should be able to snatch that processor for under $200 nowadays.

none in FL as far as I can tell
I'm really getting taxed on this motherfukker

What issues have you had with AC? I myself haven't had any yet with DX11 though I'm only like 4 hours in. Every time I try to get into it I feel overwhelmed with how open it is and shut it down.

so just make sure it can run it. I felt the same way with AC, I just preferred how closed and linear AA was.Yes it will work. Don't have a Micro Center near by? You should be able to snatch that processor for under $200 nowadays.
