have you tried just running stuff on just one monitor? (you use 3 right?)

Yeah, same problem with just one monitor...ugh

nope the cards are not the problem trust me what you may have to do is take a L and do a fresh install.

Nooooooooo. I don't want that L:sadcam:. I guess it's a reason to finally do a fresh install of win 7 on an ssd. But still, :why:

did you do a "clean install" with the nvidia driver? (I'm just grasping at straws, but it's a lot easier than reinstalling windows/everything)

I didn't, but I'm gonna try that later today. I'm gonna try a few other things first.

Thanks everybody for your help, btw

He did say he didn't have these problems til he installed that skyrim mod, its possible, it could have missconfigured or curropted a file I would chalk it up and fresh install sux but no reason to have to deal with flicking

Yeah, falksaar was fun, but fukk it for fukking up my system :pacspit:

I just tried crysis 2 and the flicker only happens with some angles, just like borderlands 2 and heaven. Ahhh

Maybe I should try uninstalling skyrim? That probably wouldn't help, but I dunno

Edit: Welll, of course that didn't work....lol

Sometimes the damage could already be done after a uninstall. It wouldn't hurt to try a unstall and a run of Malwarebytes just to see if it helps but im sure the fresh install would fix what ever wrong.

Yeah, malwarebytes might not be a bad idea, I'm gonna try that right now

Well, a quick scan revealed no problems....dammit, I was hoping it would be something as easy as that

a Skyrim mod should just go in the Skyrim folder and not affect anything else though

a clean install of the nvidia driver should take care of any conflicts with the gpu drivers (the drawback is you will lose any settings you setup in the nvidia control panel). I know a lot of people have been having trouble with recent window's updates, but I hadn't heard about flickering shadows. who knows at this point...

overlapping drivers lead to all of my previous gpu issues (that persisted through multiple GPUs) until i sat down, got two sweepers and did it properly in safe mode

malaware leads to obvious graphics problems also (and malaware bytes is my go to)
