So I’m at a crossroads with choosing a GPU, there’s $20 difference between the AMD($819.99) and Nvidia card ($839.99). The third card is sold by MSI at $789. I feel at that price I should side with Nvidia but I’m at the mercy of the manufacturer if something gets fukked. I like the ability of going to the store having options of a refund or replacement if either of the first two options give me problems.
I’ve read the power connector is better for these 50 series cards compared to last generation but I’m still hesitant on it. I wanted to use cable extensions but I don’t want to add another point of failure.
I haven’t made a build in over a decade so I’m out the loop on has best track record.
