Well, that's good that you can see it in your BIOS, you should be able to set it up in Windows. If not, you'll probably just have to fukk around with some shyt. But if the BIOS is detecting it, you should be good to go.

Actually have you tried disk management yet? If not, go there ASAP and see if you can get it working from there

You should be somewhere that looks like this:

Aight i'm there & I see the drive. It has a black bar above it instead of blue. So that means its "Unallocated".

You probably don't see the drive cause you have to create a volume/partition it. Go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management. You'll end up at a screen like this,

There go to Storage, Disk Management. Find your drive there and right click on it and select partition drive.

Good looks, it says its Unallocated so I can't partition it.

For a few days now, had an issue on 7 that I thought 8 would fix. It didn't Got to reinstall 7 soon. Every time one of the Windows 8 Metro apps unexpectedly takes over my entire screen I feel like punching a hole in my monitor,

Aight i'm there & I see the drive. It has a black bar above it instead of blue. So that means its "Unallocated".

Good looks, it says its Unallocated so I can't partition it.

You can, right click on the unallocated drive and select format or create volume or some shyt. I don't have any unallocated drives so I can't tell you exactly what you have to select but it will be one of those options. It will let you choose a drive letter for it and what not during the process.

Windows 8.1 runs most games a lot smoother than windows 7 (probably has something to do witn direct x and video card drivers ) and you can run it in classic mode to supposedly make the desktop/functions like windows 7(havnt done this yet myself so no idea how true this is)

But i did have to put my browsers in classic mode cause windows 8 originally makes browsing horrible

I'm thinking about using a 24inch HDTV as my new monitor. My girl wants a new tv for the bedroom and I am curious if I could double it up as a gaming monitor. What specs should I be looking for in terms of the best performance for gaming? Or is it just not a good idea and I should stick to a regular monitor?

what's the resolution? I know a lot of TV's that size are only 720p

I am only scoping out 1080p sets. Haven't bought it yet though.

oh alright. I thought you were saying you already had the 24" TV

but what I said is still going to be true, as most "TV's" around that size are 720p. you might want to go with a monitor for that reason. the problem is most monitors lack speakers and a TV tuner, but you can usually find a solution for the speakers, and depending on your situation, you might not need a TV tuner
