Yes AI can write a legal brief memo and west law and Lexi’s nexus have made AI research features, but it still not as good as a lawyer and needs to be double checked
Like mentioned, not yet.

When those city-sized data centers are finished by China, Meta, etc. and the insane compute they can give, shyt is finished.

I just seen on the news that 30% of Microsoft coding is already done by AI.

Kevin Scott, the CTO of Microsoft, says 95% of code will be AI-generated within five years.

So much production code exists right now and in use on public products that was done by A.I.

If your app or software has had an update in the last two years there’s a high chance a large part of it was written by A.I.

I solved one of our company’s customers complaints with A.I generated code and saved this company a large amount of money.

Plenty of A.I-generated code is literally running infrastructure right now.

The real world effects and use cases are 100% legit.

Idk even if it is damn near perfect you cannot risk a hallucination fukking your shyt up. It could cost you your license and get you sued yourself.

Plus there is a lot of face to face human interaction between lawyers and clients, and lawyers and judges/clerks. I don’t even think it could kill paralegals For the same reason. Like it’s used a lot already and both lawyers and paralegals have adapted.

It’s bad now, but with the city-sized data centers with nuclear reactors connected to them those A.I’s will make the current ones look remedial.

I think we shouldn’t be looking at the mistakes they’re making now as an indication of the mistakes they’ll make 5 years from now with exponentially more technology and computer power backing them. This is as dumb as they’ll be today.

Imagine a mall the size of the Manhattan burrough, but instead packed with GPU’s. That’s what Meta is building in Louisiana right now. It’s a data center four to maybe eight times the size of LAX.

My argument is off topic to that but it is “why?” Didn’t we just see the Chinese eat their food using Deepseek? That level of investment doesnt make sense.

There isn’t enough money in this to justify it. I get the idea that a lot of companies were not the red for years, but there isn’t a user base large enough for this and people have consistently shown the willingness to use lesser models if they are free. Zuckerberg himself poisoned the well when he released LLama. There isnt nearly enough demand to justify this level of expenditures in the market.
