I use the One more than my 360...but I still have a couple games to finish...Skyrim, GTA and some of the recent Games For Gold titles....plus I still play Halo.

Call Of Duty & Battlefield said hello.
Exactly

If the Xone came out too early, wtf did the PS4 do? Come out on time... without anything to fukking play or use it for?

And when it comes to graphics, from my understanding it's about the developers learning how to use the Xone and not it being a "less powerful" system, especially when it comes to multiplats

And Titanfall is a dope ass game, $60 or not.

How exactly did the PS4 or XBOX One launch early? The previous generation was :flabbynsick: and BOTH consoles launched underpowered to what I expected.
The software wasn't ready. People are mostly stuck with a bunch of crossover games from the last generation. Granted Infamous just came out as did Titanfall but most of the better games on these new consoles are still previous generation games as well.

Its not about developers learning how to use the XB1 it's inferior from a hardware standpoint. Still if you consider the libraries of both systems the Xbox One still has the better overall lineup as it did at launch. Their problem is there's no justifiable reason for the XB1 to cost $100 more than the PS4. Kinect is not a justifiable reason because nobody cares about it.

I agree with it coming out too early. My biggest gripe with the One is how they marketed the cloud as the great equalizer. The only impressive thing I've yet to see from it is Drivatars in Forza. There were also a lot of small issues at launch that could've been avoided. No recent players list, no way to check my battery on my controller, no twitch streaming, very difficult to access friends list compared to 360.

I really hope its on developers wanting to quickly cash for the reason games haven't able to reach 1080p 60fps because at the rate technology is advancing, it won't get any easier to achieve this.

The Kinect is great feature, but it really isn't something Microsoft should have tied all their horses too. I understand MS is more of software company than hardware (hence the more sleek smaller PS4) but they could've taken away attention from the Kinect to trying to match or even better the specifications of their competitors.

I feel like the power of the cloud can be ill. But nobody wants to put the time in and Microsoft didn't showcase it. Drivatars aren't enough. That's not showing the power. That's showing the existence. But I think when you think of it collectively. With the cloud, esram, move engines, tiled resources and all that it sounds like they had a plan. I'm just interested to see if they can capitalize on it. I guess the reality is that the actual Microsoft games have been 1080p

because they rush into every generation before the software is ready and the first year of them is throwaway due to that. this is why you got a gang of people begging for PS3 and 360 games like South Park, Dark Souls 2, and GTA V on the new consoles because they're over here looking like why these older joints getting better games than us on the shiny new box?

Hopefully they do have a plan. Their flagship franchise, Halo, would be a great time to reveal this plan if they ultimately have one.

No Playstation launch was ever rushed, neither has any Nintendo launch as well.

The XBOX and XBOX 360 were rushed, but the XBOX One was not

What part of a new console launch do you guys not understand? They ALL launch slow...thats the way of the business. Only one that started off blazing was the dreamcast and phazed out

Cost to develop these games goes up each gen so of course publishers are going to make cross gen games to cash in on early adopters that want to validate their early purchases. This literally happens every time breh. If you don't like it then wait a year or two like the rest of us or just dont cop those games.

As far as the power of the boxes goes, I pretty much expected something along the lines of what the Xbone has. The PS4 caught me off guard and that price tag... :whew:. And I'm still not sure what the fukk Nintendo was thinking or doing with the Wii U.

I think Sony just realized that console gaming is dead in Japan for the most part and that there's no real reason to pander to that region early on since they got it in the bag regardless.

I'm almost certain that one of the developers said that it's about the dudes making the games and not the hardware. And once the developers catch up to it then it will be on par "graphics wise" to PS4 :comeon:

So you think MS should have let Sony come out when they did, at 400 a pop and wait months to drop their console because of Titanfall? Do you remember what happened when Sony gave MS a year head start with the 360 and released a more expensive console later? It was an uphill battle from then on.

I'm not bothered by it. I still have a PS3 and a 360 and they're still getting better games than the One or PS4 so I continue to play them. If the PS4 launches at the end of 2014 it could have launched with Watch_Dogs, Infamous, the Order could have came out shortly thereafter Metal Gear Solid V would have been ready in early 2015. Instead it launched with Knack and Killzone and those games got thrown in the bushes so fast its almost like they didn't exist.

That's what I mean by the software wasn't ready. There wasn't a Halo or a game that justified buying the console. People had just had the previous generation consoles for so long they wanted something new and when the new boxes were released people rushed out and bought them not for a particular game they wanted but just for the hell of it. These people that sold their previous gen consoles to jump into this new generation are starving out here in many cases. port begging as they watch the PS3 and 360 get GOTY candidates they can no longer play.
