He was talking about the SOME developers spending more time with the hardware to make most of the upcoming games 1080p. Obviously it's not the same technology as before and, like I stated already, the producer of Sniper Elite basically said the same thing. Their developers had an issue with Xone hardware at first and now they don't

and I've heard this since both systems dropped. It was more difficult to create the ports on Xone than it was for PS4 and SOME developers aren't familiar with the Xone technology, especially when it came to ports/multiplats.

and now you're saying that the PS4 is going to run games more than 1080p 60fps, because if the developers haven't figured out how to utilize Xone then they must've not figured out PS4... :comeon:

I'm guessing Forza, Fifa, NBA2k weren't 1080p games on the Xone, since the Xone can't do 1080p/60fps and is less powerful... right?
The PS4 isn't running most games at 1080p 60FPS now. Infamous Second Son is 1080p 30FPS and Tomb Raider floats in the 50 FPS range at 1080p. As the generation goes on and developers get better at it i'd expect the PS4 to come closer to a 1080p 60FPS standard on most if not all games because its already getting close to that.

The Xbox One on the other hand is giving developers issues to the point they're doing sub 1080p resolution games on it. if anything it it makes it to 1080p 30FPS that's a win for it.

The issues with the xbox one is that it has a shyt GPU.

the consoles should at the very least been equal to high end PCs. xbox 1 is already maxed out for the most part, and there's really not much room for ps4 to go either. shyt is disappointing to me to be honest
How'd you come to that conclusion??

because this isn't like previous consoles generations, where devs were unfamiliar with the architecture and had room for exploration. these next gen consoles are literally mid to low end PCs, devs know exactly what they're capable of.

They know what they're capable of, doesn't mean they've reached the ceiling. It's too early.

The Xbox One has a different memory set up though. It has a very small amount of faster memory and a larger amount of slower memory. Developers have to manage how they use that to get the best out of it. on the PS4 its all in one fast pool.

breh, i give props to console devs because they know hwo to get the best out of limited hardware, but be real. it's not like devs are going to magically find a way to get xbox 1 to push games at 1080p, 60fps. they will squeeze more out of these consoles for sure, but we're going to hit the ceiling within 3 yrs

edit: and i still say xbox 1 is already maxed out

Nah I'm not talking about Xbox 1 :lolbron: Games will look better but not simply because of resolution increases. Lighting, textures, particle effects, art design, etc. will get better. For example GTA V looks much better than GTA IV and they came out 5 years apart.

:heh: breh you are clearly confused.
Damn, you Playstanleys are almost as bad as Pactards

http://www.usgamer.net/articles/infinity-ward-responds-to-xbox-one-resolutiongate

Developer in this article clearly states WHY they had issues with X-one when getting COD at 1080p/60fps... resouce allocation, OS, and memory since X-one has extra shyt that uses up resources that could've been used towards resolution or framrate... shyt the PS4 doesn't have

Some developers (like the ones for Halo) will use the cloud to allocate some resources while other developers will find other ways. And didn't microsoft release a patch

Wolfenstein is already CONFIRMED to be 1080p 60fps on Xbox breh :mjlol::gladbron:

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/wo...1080p-60fps-on-xbox-one-and-ps4/1100-6417992/

Xbox had 10% of memory resources allocated for Kinect thats not being used by developers...yet

Direct X 12 is supposed to increase CPU performance by 50% on Xone and help with GPU support also..

And despite PS4 having a slightly more powerful GPU (only) the main issue developers had with Xone was the OS and the allocation of resources, since Xone does so much other cool shyt :blessed: .

“It was clearly a bit more complicated to extract the maximum power from the Xbox One when you’re trying to do that. I think eSRAM is easy to use. The only problem is…Part of the problem is that it’s just a little bit too small to output 1080p within that size. It’s such a small size within there that we can’t do everything in 1080p with that little buffer of super-fast RAM.”

“It means you have to do it in chunks or using tricks, tiling it and so on. It’s a bit like the reverse of the PS3. PS3 was harder to program for than the Xbox 360. Now it seems like everything has reversed but it doesn’t mean it’s far less powerful – it’s just a pain in the ass to start with. We are on fine ground now but the first few months were hell.”

“They are releasing a new SDK that’s much faster and we will be comfortably running at 1080p on Xbox One. We were worried six months ago and we are not anymore, it’s got better and they are quite comparable machines. The Xbox One is a bit more multimedia, a bit more hub-centric so its a bit more complex. There’s stuff you can and can’t do because it’s a sort of multimedia hub. PS4 doesn’t have that. PS4 is just a games machine.”

A gaming machine without games :why::mjlol:

Now normally I could give a fukk less about the graphic conversations because honestly, I can barely tell the difference in any of the games that are released and I'm not that big of a fukking nerd to let that stop me from playing it.

I could have bought a PS4 whenever, but without games I actually WANT to play, games that are FUN to me (not Infamous, Killzone, or any of those other bullshyt indies), I will NOT buy a PS4 no matter what the graphics look like on Multiplat games.... I could get a PC for that :childplease:

And if the Devs/Xbox creators can find a way to utilize Xone to where it runs flawlessly at 1080p/60fps then all the better. I boughtt an Xone for the games, the projected exclusives, and the multi-functionality.

i'll holla at PS4 when it drops anther Shadow of the Colossus EXCLUSIVELY or something...
