Kendrick is no different from Nas. Nas wasn't built like no Don or no Thug. He was the kid who watched everything happened and wanted no parts. We didn't give a shyt because his music was so tough. So why is Kendrick any different? Too much 90s bias

He's not A1. I will say this though: whatever year it was when "Mars (remix)" came out (i think it was 2007 or 2008), that was my most played track of that year. by far. I wouldn't be lying if I said I've listened to that song more than a thousand times. I was actually blown away by how vivid the rhymes were, the beat, delivery and just the song as a whole. I really thought dude was gonna be the new Nas. Then he fell the fukk off.
Blu was the last new cat to impress me intellectually in terms of rhyme content.

So using your logic Tupac wouldn't have known who he was either. Because in one instance he could do a song like changes and then next time around do hitemup. Well his music resonated with many people and still does today. I don't see how that's a recipe for losing.

My problem is you are just trying to hard. But I'll humor you and let you know the reason why Kendrick's music does resonate with his fans is because he doesn't drop music every 3 months just to try to stay hot. He not making songs about the hoes in club, name dropping fashion labels and generic bullshyt. He puts music out with purpose so that's why it's so funny when you say he doesn't know himself...
