my ringer "hot take" is that Chris Ryan is on too many goddamn podcasts. i like the guy, but he is on everything always. they're doing this "CR Month" and the movies they're covering have been discussed so much over the years in bits and pieces, you can probably compile a 4 hour rewatchables for each of them. If i have to listen to these dudes talk about Heat for one more fukkin second, i'm gonna explode. Heat has been discussed on the Ringer more than Jayson Tatum at this point. one of the most overrated movies ever made.

It's gonna be fukking hilarious if heat 2 isn't good and they'll act like it never happened 5 days after release....like they did Den of Thieves 2 and house of Gucci

And Devil Wears Prada is by far the most overrated movie by the ringer

they just let Amanda have something but Bill calling it the most rewatchable movie of the millenium is comedy... it's still Heat. Moneyball is 2nd actually.

Weren’t they sponsored by the Den of Thieves sequel, they were pushing the hell out of it. They did a Rewatchables and I think the director was chilling in the audience.

Sean might kill himself if Heat 2 sucks.

Chris, Bill, and Van are pretty clearly the best podcasters. I like Joanna Robinson and Andy Greenwald but they're not for everyone. Fennessy is knowledgeable but can be pretentious.

I fukk with Van heavy and like Jomi and Steve but I have such a hatred for Charles that I can't stand to listen to the pod. I didn't like dude pre-pod as everry time I'd read one of those Ringer group articles there was always 1 or 2 people that you could tell were trying way too hard to be contrarian or have hot takes. Eventually started recognizing his name after seeing it enough.

Plus he reminds me of the black dudes that were really square (nothing wrong with that) but then would try to black it up when getting around coller black folks. It reminds me of Kendrick's "we don't wanna hear you say nikka no more".

Yep, it was a thing last year or so where he wasnt even watching some of the shows/movie but was kicking it's back in like he watched the shyt. I want to say it was The Penguin he did that shyt with. I want to say he only watched like 2-3 eps.

I felt the same initially but that mothafukka makes me laugh. When he said #NotMyXenomorph I laughed for days

I know he had that whole stretch where Van went off on him because he wasn't reviewing the show but instead just complaining because of what he was hoping the Penguin would be. So he wasn't judging what was actually presented on the screen because it didn't go the direction he wanted.
