Crazy part is the US watched Soviet union hold their L when they went into Afghanistan. And years later the US thought it would be different by doing the same thing. One would think the US would be much smarter.

I mean we were chasing one man and got caught in a Team America: World Police fantasy. And it ended in a nightmare.

Now we got Putin chasing a bygone era instead of building a future and might end up in the same nightmare scenario.
