half of those guys didnt play at the same time.
and alot of them arent exactly list-worthy either.
and some of them werent even SGs.
iverson played SG most of his nba career.
Jordan played against all of those guys though..and quite a few of them are list worthy, especially compared to what we have now. The list had a few cats that could be listed as either sf/sg, sf/sg/pg, or pg/sg combo. I don't see the issue here at all.

Rose played point guard at Simeon, Rose played point guard at Memphis, Rose played point guard in the NBA. Rose is a point guard. Saying some dumb shyt like 'Their ways of how they go about scoring does not fit to what I think a PG's role is on the team.' is taking away from what his role has been in Chicago - which is more or less a translation of Rose should have passed more to Keith Bogans instead of looking to score himself, the would've been a helluva lot better if he did.Rose is a combo guard, breh. this isnt about jordan.
this about how the SG position has never been deep like that.
the fact that you had to combine 2-3 eras just to get a competent list going, says it all.![]()
what i posted was in response to Jordan not having a catalog of players to compete against. it's not his fault he played in multiple era's.Rose played point guard at Simeon, Rose played point guard at Memphis, Rose played point guard in the NBA. It doesn't matter if he's passing to Bogans or whoever the fukk. He's effective when he's slashing to the rim. He's a SG in a PG's body. He's no different than these other combo guards that played "PG".Rose played point guard at Simeon, Rose played point guard at Memphis, Rose played point guard in the NBA. Rose is a point guard. No, that's what you're saying too. You're the one saying he should have passed to Keith Bogans more...Not me.
Rose is not a PG to me, did you miss the personal preference part? Why would I give a shyt what position he played in HS and college, like that means anything?
Rose is not a PG and you pointing out his HS and College past, shows you're not thinking for yourself.

Look...Let me make this as simple as possible for you. Rose is a shoot first, pass second player, in other words, a SG, a shooting guard, a scoring guard, an iso player...Not a point guard. I don't give a shyt if he was running the offense in middle school, nothing about his game and the way he plays is resembles anything of a point guard.
You know what call him a combo guard and I'd be fine with it, but don't come at me with this bullshyt of him being a PG. He's not and will never be one.

we're just not on the same page here man.
it seems like you took my comment as a slight towards jordan and are more concerned with preserving his legacy, rather than staying on-topic.
point is that theres rarely ever(if there ever was) a period when the SG position was stacked like that around the league AT ONE TIME.
