His role in Pain & Gain as the roided-up, religious cokehead is still my favorite. Great movie too. I don’t care that they turned a brutal true crime into a dark comedy*—it’s still unbelievable it actually happened. If he gets an Oscar nod for The Smashing Machine, the comeback after hitting many career roadblocks in recent times is complete.
* - Funny how the same critics who trashed Pain & Gain for laughing at tragedy had no problem applauding Wolf of Wall Street for doing the same.

You'd be correct if banana nose wasn't booking the shows.
Pain & Gain, Gridiron Gang, and Faster also showed how good of an actor he is. Can't really blame him for going the action route though, since that's what really setup his Hollywood connections.

The people that HHH has decided to be the face of this era Cody, Seth, and Rhea can fill the arena but not have people tune in. The WWE needs a serious infusion of new talent, but HHH's worse nightmare is that all the promising new talent is black.

Well maybe Cody can but Rhea can't. She gets great reactions but we saw what the attendance was when they let her headline a show. It was like 6000. They heavily papered to try to get it up to 8000 before bell time. Even Brandon Thurston said it was heavily papered to even get to that point.
I actually liked it a lot because there was a lot of regular ass fans there and the atmosphere was better instead of having a bunch of fat Green Shirt guys sitting on their hands.
