Precisely

Africa's youth (all of them, each and every single one) need to become educated before anything else. After that, everything else will eventually take care of itself.

Exactly. Every single issue plaguing Africa will eventually be solved with education. The problem is that it's almost impossible for them to fix it. It's not like Africans are dumb either. Africans in western countries usually merk asians and Jews when it comes to test scores. The problem is that there's no teachers to teach people. There's two ways to solve this. Send Africans abroad to study, or import teachers from the west. The problem with the former is that when Africans go abroad they usually don't come back. The problem with the latter is that it's extremely expensive to import teachers and with no money there's no way for many countries to do this.

Africans we value religion more than anything and when we value education we look down on people less educated instead of helping them grow :snoop:
Not only that, the cowardly Africans who leave Africa and never come back stifle Africa's growth by facilitating brain drain
You wish you were Nigerian, Ethiopian, AA, etc, etc :skip:
nope.

Basically once they broke free from North Korea they were able to implemented a more functional government which as a result led to better economic power.

Africans do not need to follow their blueprint...

They are doing their own thing and are doing quite fine...

Also, when will people start equating economic power with perfection?

South Korea has a lot of internal problems that need major work and clean up on...

I like East Asia but, I honestly get annoyed at how people (especially us Westerners) constantly romanticize, glorify, and fetishize East Asia as some darn utopia...

I'm jealous :ehh:

I wish I was Korean

Why do so many Koreans move here if the standard of living there is so high?

Why?

I can appreciate and respect a culture without wishing to be like them either...

Also, Korea has a lot of internal social, culture problems and if I'm not mistaken, aren't big on publicly displaying those problems to fix out in the open like us Americans...

Saving face, shame culture I think are pretty big over there and causes more problems in return than help...

what country doesnt?

as for Korea, I was just there a cpl days ago. I go there quite often actually, they're cool people, they're a bit more introvert compared to the other yellow races, but they live and let live and mind their own business. I rarely if ever get stares in Korea. They'll engage after you engage. If they do engage they're a lot more respectable and cautious compared to drunken chinese who swanton bomb into your business and break personal space.

As for economy, they lack the resources to steal and have a much smaller denser population than most african countries. Japan and Korea can't be compared to Congo which is damn near the size of the U.S with the population of LA spread out throughout the land with various tribes who have nothing in common. The world bank also puts unbearable interests, heck some african countries are still paying for debts from colonial times and that doesn't even make sense since its the first world nations that owe africa. a bag of rice for a bag of diamonds is not an equal trade. Usually when those western countries commit awful atrocity, they let the country they ass fukked breathe, see Japan after the bombs, Korea after the civil war, south america after the dictators, but they will never let the hand off africa, because of its valuable resources. Thats why its a good thing China is emerging as a competitor so that africans can turn their backs on the west who keep fukking them over.

But like someone stated, this ties back to education. Japanese, although they got bullied into opening their borders, were able to counter manipulate and reverse engineer shyt which pushed the hand of the suppliers. Africans on the other hand barely know wtf is going on.
