DMX and then he doesnt use samples so he can bank all the dough

then network and use the dough to be in the biggest situations
he gets paid from DMX catalog alone from royalties at a higher level than people using samples

it shows the direction management and drugs can take you... he is living the life DMX should have which has always pissed me off

What pisses you off about it? Swizz is living his own life. He earned that life.

Introverts hate swizz beats.

And yall still acting like he not on Timbaland level, but he smoked timbo in that verzus.

In real time, Timbaland had success in Swizz's camp. Ruff Ryders had Timbaland beats. Eve was featured on "Hot Boyz" which was bigger than any song off her debut. Timbaland laced "Ryde Or Die Chick", which is one of The Lox's most successful songs. Timbaland was a staple on NY albums during Swizz's run.

Swizz is not on Timbaland's level regardless of how you think Verzuz went down. I guess you think Scott Storch >>>>>> Mannie because he beat Mannie. If Three Six somehow manages to wash Bone, I'm sure you wouldn't dare come on here and talk about how Three Six>>>>.

It's not.

Ruff Ryders' Anthem
Jigga My nikka
Down Bottom
Murder To Excellence
You Could Be Blind
SHYNE
Scenario 2000
Bring Em Out
Hustla
Get Me Bodied
Upgrade You
Get It On The Floor
Blood Pressure
Blackout
WWIII

^^^ to name a few. Swizz would not make my Top 10. He sits comfortably in a Top 20-25 though.

he has more beats than that put out and there are more trash beats than good beats if he has 120 beats out and only like 30 are decent his catalog as a whole is garbage.

thats cool and all but other people made him a star, his beats are trash

I know what you are saying with smart investments and budgeting etc its not his fault

but he's a product of right place at the right time and network

its like Flo-rida selling more records than any hiphop artist or whatever
I cant say he's top 100 rapper of all time, he just makes pop music for white women
he's exploited a certain demographic which is cheap and unimportant

swizz basically eats off his songs with DMX almost as much as DMX did
you could have given DMX any producer and he would have remained the same
swizz beats you need a good rapper who is a superstar to carry his beats 90% of the time

he does have ALOT of great beats but he also has some of the worst beats of all time nearly
he's basically an icon because of DMX otherwise he would have ended up with a bunch of hits but not well known like that
now he's in a batcave fukking alicia keys pretending like he's a mogul and shyt :russ: im not hating he's smart and made it work but its kind of ridiculous

mannie fresh got the short end of the stick... he carried cash money without samples... which gave them 1000% more profit just like Swizz
he was a dope DJ in the 80s and 90s with good beats. He created their sound similar to how Ruff Ryders used Swizz ... but then he was just dropped and forgotten about
nobody is looking at Mannie Fresh as some mogul and beat making superstar even though he's in a similar vein as Swizz. I'm willing to say Mannie did more for New Orleans and Cash money than Swizz did for NY ... except Jay and DMX specifically really earned him lifelong money on multiple releases. Nobody is really going back to The Block is Hot and 400 Degrees like they are with "Volume 2 -3" and "DMX first few albums" just the sales and plays those got would net Swizz at least 20-30 million for life.

Isn't he mogul? Look how he ventured into the art and luxury brand space. What's Mannie's excuse for not thriving?

swizz beats should 100% not be a mogul over basically any NY producer
I have no clue what point you're trying to make
especially with Mannie when I stated that Cash Money just stopped fukking with him

I said Swizz Beats alone is a megastar just off DMX back. He's receiving royalties everytime you listen to DMX first 3 albums since 1999 and they all sold millions of copies. If he quit music after he would still have more money than 90% of producers just based on DMX's sales.

Mannie did all of Carter 1 and then he was nowhere near Carter 2 ... Cash Money just left him, which isnt his fault or the point. But he doesnt get the same $$$ because the entire world will only listen to DMX first 3 albums forever. Millions of people arent still listening to Still Fly or Bling Bling ... Wayne isnt even associated with Mannie Fresh's sound anymore

Dmx's career carries 70% of Swizz beats career
saying he's supposed to be a mogul proves the point. He's not supposed to be... if you pretend he doesnt ever record with DMX then his career is just a dude with a dope single every once in awhile with 70% of his money gone. None of these opportunities open without DMX being a megastar. You would have to really underestimate just how big DMX was and still is play wise. I'm not hating I do like alot of his beats but its facts. It would be like Jim Jones having 150 million and Cam having 10 million. Most of that money would be because of Cam, not what you did. You would directly skyrocket based on someone elses shyt mostly... ballin' only blows for Jim because Dipset is put in the position Cam gave them. Yeah its smart investing and making moves with the dough but you owe all that to DMX, the man who shared multi platinum stardom with your pockets. DMX career probably could have been 2x a big if he worked with different producers. Imagine him over some Nas Is Like or Trackmasters. At that time it was impossible for DMX to miss, Swizz was just brought for the lifetime journey royalties ... he's super lucky for that. 10 years from now you're still paying Swizz when you listen to DMX. Otherwise on spotify, nobody is like "damn millions of people are looking for and streaming Swizz beats, put some on!" :francis: He basically lived a megastar life through DMX
