is John Collins bad in the locker room or something? I never understood why the hawks are trying to move him. He seems productive and he can stretch the floor.
I wouldnāt move him unless it was a major deal that got them a franchise altering player.
Fake news
Why in the hell would the hawks do this![]()
Idk man ā¦this feels like excuses ā¦.what happened during the finals last year? where was he at then? I just would feel uneasy about paying a big that doesnāt assert himself ..and the lane clogging was definitely a thing in phoenix they were a bottom 3rd team in attempts at the rim (23rd overall) they lived off of a diet of mid range jump shots and floaters ā¦I would hate for Cades offense to devolve into that ā¦and I donāt think Bagley is a great comp as the presumption here is that Ayton would require way more involvement and share of touches than he did last season or else why sign him ā¦like I said I donāt hate it ..Iām not saying it wonāt have any effectiveness ..I would just be concerned giving a guy like that the max on this kind of team ⦠I think Ayton would flourish more on a team with a high volume 3 point shooting lead guard like a Trae Young in Atlanta ā¦that would be my ideal landing spot for himThe thing is Ayton has more capability than just being a rim running defensive big and he's shown that. He's a big that didn't get the ball much or have any action going through him. In that Dallas series Booker and Paul were stinking that bytch up and Monty didn't seem to care to try to get Ayton involved. I wouldn't use that series as the barometer of what he can be. As far as him clogging up the lane, I don't think that will be a problem either. It never seemed to be an issue in Phoenix and Ayton's shooting range is well outside to about 18 ft so he doest just have to be in the lane to be effective. Then there's the fact that Cade's game seemed to flourish even more once they added Bagley, who I think is more of a lane clogger than Ayton in his current state. So he's already proven to be effective with that type of player, but this version is better both offensively and defensively.
And though I don't think either situation is ideal, I think they'll get much better value throwing that money at Ayton than an undersized gunner in Sexton who doesn't bring much to the table besides him getting his own buckets. Plus with their current cap situation they can get both if they do desire.

No, after the trade I think they have something like 50+ mil in cap space. I get your point in both regards, that's why I said neither are ideal. I'm just not the biggest fan of Sexton, but I understand how it could work.Idk man ā¦this feels like excuses ā¦.what happened during the finals last year? where was he at then? Yeah but thatās what they need ā¦Sexton opens the floor ..opens the lane for Cade ā¦thatās a huge benefit regarding spacing ..they can afford to have a gunner like him on offense ā¦and I donāt think theyāll be able to get both ā¦correct me if Iām wrong but theyāre looking at having around 40 million in space this off-season ā¦pretty sure both will want more than 20 million a year
Iām not the biggest fan either ā¦just saying like out of the young guys available I would roll with him strictly off of the shooting if I had to choose ā¦but if they can get both he and Ayton then fukk it ā¦do that shyt ā¦that would be a fun young team to watchNo, after the trade I think they have something like 50+ mil in cap space. I mean, the relationship is beyond repair, but given how their season ended, was it really smart of them to put themselves in the position of letting him walk in the first place? Is the alternative of running it back with the same direction on offense, only to end up coming to the same dead-end, any better?Suns smart , fukk maxing ayton let some other sucka do that
If MJ wanted to be cheap, he could hire any random assistant instead of this guy who gets mid results every fukking time
@42 Monks breh i hope for your sake this isn't true
Probably not much, clippers want less salary and Powell has pretty much replaced himWonder what the asking price for Kennard is, would love him on the Celtics.
