since the Mavs won’t have capspace to do anything this offseason, wonder if they could have cut their losses and tried to get back Noel & Burks in a deal sending off Jalen. Unless Cuban just not wanting to pay that tax

That’s what the more likely option is. I always say that a lot of teams say that they will pay the tax until the reality of the bill kicks in.

Who was the most recent FA signing that was a head scratcher? Like what is this team doing, we paid him that much? Yet it worked out great. Looking for scenarios similar to this Jalen Brunson Knicks one.
