For OKC this is THE series that is going to determine their future going forward...

Spurs first year of LMA and Kawhi...so this is the time to get them in a series while they still working on how to play together...and no playing a regular season where both sit out games due to rest and didn't play 30 minutes a game is not enough time to say they perfectly know how to play together...

And...if you can believe it...the Spurs are on the verge of turning into a MONSTER of a franchise in a way they have never been before where going forward they are going to be serious players for top tier free agents...

They got a superstar who is elite on both sides of the ball...

They got a star big man who can carry the team...spent most of his career already carrying a team...

Best coach in the game...

Best coaching staff in the game..

Best front office in the game...

A coach who prioritizes rest and injury aversion in the regular season over everything else...

Diaw is winding down...not a big deal they got his replacement on the team already in Kyle Anderson...Manu about to retire no big deal they got his replace on the team already in Jonathan Simmons...

This is an ideal spot for somebody to come in and be the third guy (personally i think they already got the third guy in Simmons but Pop gonna Pop and not let him play enough to show it ) :yeahok:

OKC lose this series and that 3rd guy could very well end up being Kevin Durant...

I expect SA to get it done...don't know how many games it takes...don't really care...

If they keep Kanter off the boards and LMA shows out against Ibaka then this is going to be a quick and ugly series...

If Kanter gets on the boards and LMA can't make enough shots to keep Ibaka from roaming around the paint then it is going to be a bloodbath...

Dion Waiters might win 2 of these games for OKC or SA

Kawhi Leonard averaged 28 in 3 games vs. Durant this year. He won't cook him all series if for no other reason than he will make him work hard on the defensive end.

This should be one of the most entertaining series we've seen in awhile. Though OKC are the underdogs, the pure anger and hatred between KD and Russ that we're going to see in this series could propel them forward, or lead to their demise. On paper this is the best OKC team that's been put together since the finals run, but you can say the same about SA. KD and Russ will need to play 40 minutes a piece, I'd say
