I'm bored of the toxic masculinity narrative because of how much it preaches about men can be who they want to be. and other men are keeping Men being themselves. But they uplift one type of men online, and irl the complete opposite.

Culture evolves though so if the new wave is for 30 yr old to lay on their dad chest then so be it. There are cultures where men hold hands, kiss, and invade each others personal space. It's only weird and sexual (or whatever the issue is here) if the society deems it so

There is literally no such a thing as toxic femininity, it's a reactionary term created and paddled by people who do even understand what toxic masculinity means.

Society doesn't define those things as femininen like it does with toxic masculinity.

yes, let's place a moratorium on it's usage until we can have a more academic discourse. Until then, we can find other language to describe men teaching young boys to suppress their emotions because "men don't cry".
