IMO you can only argue the Biker gimmick was overrated, but all variations of the deadman was classic. He seemed during the Bike run and actually looked YOUNGER when he switched back to deadman up until he cut his hair.


BTW Taker is my favorite wrestler and I think hes the GOAT so I'm not hating

for those saying this is BS, name 10 udnertaker matches that were good at wrestlemania. the one with Kane, michaels, etc were cool but dude was 6-0 before kane and none of those matches before were special. and im not a UT hater either, I remember being thrilled watching UT vs Yoko in that casket match at the royal rumble... but dudes opponents and build ups were ehhh until the mid 2000s really

Feel the complete opposite. ABA Taker was but once he turned heel as Big Evil, he was dope as fukk. It was refreshing seeing him as a real character without the whole deadman gimmick holding him back.

Deadman Taker was wack to me gimmick-wise once I became a teenager. Still loved Taker though

How many wrestlers get 10 matches at WM. Look at his career, not 22 matches over 24 years

I gotta agree with the OP, honestly out of his 22 mania matches, only 4-5 are memorable. I remember reading about him wanting to jump ship to wcw but bischoff said he was nothing without his gimmick.

Again stop judging him on just his WM matches. Look at his 20+ year body of work
