However, HBK carried the company when they were struggling in 96 and 7 year old kids across the "universe" knew Michaels was the real deal . Yeah he had some bytchassness tendencies and dopehead traits, but You can't deny his Charisma, and overall talent, coupled with his longevity.

Trips had his moments like IC Title at Summerslam 98 vs the Great One(which he was over-please don't dispute that) and RR 2000 vs Foley. Whether you like it not, La Nariz' overall body of work makes him a top 5 heel all time.Granted he was on the lower half of the top 5 during the AE

I would still take Mustard Mark over Trips, I'm just saying people peg Taker as a top 5 lock when Hogan,Macho,Flair,Rocky,Austin>>>

And a whole slew of guys like Angle,HBK,Eddie,Jericho,Benoit ,Booker etc. Are arguably better than him in all reality.

If you didn't notice, the second group of wrestlers sans Hickenbottom were prosperous in two different Feds,without having to be near a 7-feet tall.

Shawn Michaels is a nobody and practically an unknown compared to the Undertaker. Internet fans try to make him out to be much bigger than he ever was. He's not even bigger than Foley. Cripple H was less over than Stephanie at his peak and you wouldn't know who he is if not for the Rock in general. Foley too I guess. But he's a chump talent that couldn't carry shyt after all the real names were gone. Go look at 2003 when Hollywood Rock was gone and his terrible feuds with Steiner, Goldberg, Nash, and Michaels that butchered Raw to such a degree that we still live in this shadow of Cena garbage years later.

Hes rated fine. One of the GOAT gimmicks and most of his matches are rated fairly imo. Hes rarely seen as top five or perhaps even top 10 all time. so unless u say that or think hes a bum then how can he be overrated? Top ten isnt even that outrageous of a claim either although id disagee

There is NO ONE AT THIS SITE or ANYWHERE that can prove that Shawn Michaels..a failed 1996 performer who had to come back in 2002 is anywhere near the Undertaker's level. Undertaker was a main event centerpiece while Shawn was reduced to gimmick matches with Vince McMahon at Manias and shyt Taker was champion in 1991 when Shawn was still a tag team nobody sissy who didn't have a respectable gimmick and was lost in the mix. Undertaker was maineventing Summerslam 1994 while Shawn was UNKNOWN to the wrestling world at large as a non drawing sissy with Chippendale clothing. Shawn Michaels at his height was outdrawn by Eddie vs Rey at Halloween Havoc 97? Yeah..that's a real superstar alright

im saying there are a lot of contenders..and saying hes top 10 isnt irrational but if that was overwhelming consensus then i can see how a few would maybe say hes over-rated..but i dont think hes being rated inaccurately in general.
