I prefer to leave even the US ID behind, in favor of the international driver's license. Triple AAA charges 30ish bucks for it, and most nations recognize them. Good investment in my oppinion.




This isnt a thing. You will not get special expedited service cause you were pick pocketed. Especially after covid. You will wait at least a month for new documentation. You will miss flights that you wont be compensated for. Your visa(s) for any transit nations you pass through will be invalidated. You must reapply for them. Language barrier will prevent you from getting a police report to even bring back to the embassy, a process which will take you at least a week of back and forth depending on the nation.



God forbid you are in an anti-black nation when any of this occurs, cause your treatment and Chadwick's treatment will be radically different without the passport.




You'd easily be stuck in a foreign country, with a foreign culture, that speaks a foreign language for 2months while you sort out your affairs. At the same time, your cash supplies will dwindle.

The only shot at a speedy return is if you are in mexico, canada, or maybe UK.
