I drank a green smoothie once around 9:00, went to bed at my usual time around 11:45, and no lie had to get up like three times that night to piss even though I pissed before I went to bed. Had me looking at my bladder like

Y'all bladders are weak. Especially in the weekends, if I wake up to pee, I just sleep through that bytch. The pee after that though

Water that tends to build up around the ankles, legs, etc..throughout the day due to circulatory issues gets flushed once the body lies horizontally, which incidentally makes it easier for the body to flush excess water and waste.
Compression socks, keeping your legs up periodically throughout the day help a lot especially if you're a person who's job either involves standing on your feet a lot or sitting down. Also, simply, restricting your fluid intake before bed (~4 hours before) helps as well.
