It wasn't just about Kim not being 'hot', she came across as a bitter hater in the Nicki situation.

she got old and looks grotesque after her plastic surgeries.
her whole career image etc.. was built off her looks.

maybe there's just not a market for a woman in her 40's talking about sucking dikk

Of course not. Who want to hear some old ass female MC with menopausal problems? :scust:

It should be about the music and not about what she did to her face. Yes, she's made a contribution to Hip Hop. She made some dope music.

I don't think Hip Hop turned it's back on her. The music kind of stopped after she was released from jail. She made some mixtapes since then, but she also burned some bridges. There was some deal with the Trackmasters that fell through. Then came the drama with Atlantic and some other stuff. After that, it's just been mixtapes and random songs here and there.

Personally I've always rocked with Kim, since I first heard her till today, was bigging up her Nicki Minaj diss, thought it was ill, Kim is nice, she has talent.

kim could still hold her own, even after big's passin'. i can understand if you don't think the music as hot, but she was still comin' with it now :whew:

even helped ray j make a great track :mjpls:

My sister put me on that female rap which I was already feeling from Mia X but Lil Kim's Notorious K.I.M. album had some piff on there with that Redman opener as the standout to me. Kim certainly held her own on that track and it's one of my favorite Kim tracks. I hate the way nikkas turned on Kim as well. I still don't know all the reasons why Kim and Nicki had issues. But most ppl nowadays think what nikkas did 10-15 years ago don't count when these new rappers imo WILL NEVER equal the success that Kim and rappers during that time gained. I don't care how many followers, they got, how many, how many likes they got they're never going to impact this game like Kim's generation (which is mine) did.
