I never heard the Orange Channel album bruh. Most of the time the consumer get's inspired to purchase an album due to a hit single. Dude never had a hit single therefore I was never inspired to purchase the album. Him coming out the closet made me ignore all the rave reviews because I refuse to listen to a nikka sing to men for an hour.

:skip:

He said did Wiki say he went gold...

That gif!!!

Anyway Franck was getting A LOT of exposure a long time before he actually came out...BUT MAYBE HE'S AN INDUSTRY PLANT :troll:

Look at the album of the year for most urban media reviewers. I think you'll find it's GKMC or Channel Orange nearly everytime.
Frank Oceans big songs are about females too and he doesn't even push the homo sh*t down peoples throats

Frank Ocean is a good writer.. But him being gay obviously makes him the poster child for the limo liberal agenda.. It was a brilliant move on his part to come out of the closest..He always has a tie breaker to separate him from regular nikkas..

And R.Kelly is the best but he never got a solo performance at the MTV Awards nor the Grammy's. What seperates Kellz from Frank Ocean besides sexuality?

R.Kelly performed "trapped in the closet" at the MTV awards in 05.

And i'm pretty sure he's performed "I believe I can Fly" at the Grammys as well...

Everything the OP says is invalidated as soon as he said he never listened to Channel Orange. :aicmon:

The homie Lyfe Jennings had 1 of the greatest songs of the 2000's with "Must be Nice" and this nikka didn't even get an invite to the BET awards when the song was on the charts. Frank Ocean got 1 feature on WTT and the nikka gets to perform at the MTV AWARDS and the Grammy's. I don't respect what the white man is tryna do to my ppl. Slavery was bad enough, now he tryna fukk up our kids with this gay agenda. Only fags condone this shyt.

yo, props on the lyfe jennings shoutouts:

as for frank ocean, this thread is real talk. people with sense know what it is. dude had his own set at the VMAs before anybody even knew who he was. all these industry plants are pushing agendas. and its too obvious......not to mention he is/was part of the oshkoshmigosh crew with tyler & them. and he was planted in there too. he wasnt with them before they got on. he was planted inside a plant group. wow.

and he not even j.holiday & TQ status if hes not planted and :funny:.

:beli:
Frank ocean was ONE individual featured on the Grammys among several straight black men - The host LL Cool J, Jay Z, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, The Dream, Nas etc. Yes, there are some gay black men on reality TV, so what? There are tons of straight black men on reality TV as well. Gay black men exist, get over it.

Frank ocean makes good music and people admire the fact that he had the courage to come out when there are so many ignorant, immature, insecure people like you in the world. If you don't like the music then don't listen to it and stfu.

wake up. theyre pushing all types of agendas on yall. and yall gonna keep suckin it up until yall finally start suckin something else.

and what courage? he conveniently comes out the closet right before his album drops. dude prolly aint even gay.

oh and didnt he pull a publicity stunt, getting caught in a car indulging in the hanky-panky with a batty boy? this was of course when they realized his chit wasnt selling like that.

Did you just compare homosexuality to slavery? :snoop:

:wtf::usure:

THIS IS STUPID.

r.kelly earned those spots. he was huge before all that. he was already like the biggest thing going in music heading into those shows. and actually he shouldve been performing at the grammys years before "i believe i can fly". that was long overdue.

on the flipside, frank ocean is a plant that hasnt accomplished chit. and hes already performing at the grammys. all you did was prove the threadstarter to be correct with this post.

maybe you would have a point if r.kelly & public announcement were at the '91 grammys performing "shes got that vibe"......before "honey love" even dropped at that.

i dont even know why yall watch that chitty-chit.

YALL SHOULD BE BOYCOTTING THE GRAMMYS.

hell, i never even sat down and watched a full grammys show in my life cuz i already knew it was bullchit and not for US since i was a lil @$$ young bul.

yet, i see all these threads about the grammys in here. this place is far from hip-hop. FAR FROM IT.

urban media reviewers dont even reflect the thoughts of the actual urban community half the time.

AND THESE DAYS, they dont reflect the urban community's thoughts AT ALL.

Lyfe Jennings made a classic debut album but didn't get 1/8 the attention this homo gets. Had he not admitted to being a fakkit he'd be TQ status after Bye Bye Baby dropped. At the most he'd be J.Holiday status. All this grammy shyt for a nikka without a top 5 solo single is a blatant agenda by the white man to highlight black gay men. The same reason every comedian has to wear a dress before they can blow up in Hollywood.

Haven't heard Frank's album or any of Lyfe's. not a huge fan of R&B. not here to argue whether there's any agenda to promote Frank more than other similar artists.

The thread appears to be grounded in hatred of homosexuality. I'm here to ask you what is inherently wrong about a person being attracted to someone of the same sex? And how does that attraction harm you personally?
