I wouldn't mind Denmark beating France.

The Danes win the group and assuming Nigeria qualifies, then it's the 1998 R16 rematch between Nigeria and Denmark.

Anyway, before we get there we need to take care of business with Argentina.

Assuming we qualify, I'd really like to avoid France for a 2nd World Cup running.

Watching Peru vs Australia.....kinda wanna see Australia go through :yeshrug:they played well in the past 2 matches but Peru still have their pride should be a good match

And that France line up :hhh: If they lose they get Croatia :picard: Rakitic/Modric vs Pogba/Kante
Let's be real here, if you've been active in the other world cup on here, then you know exactly why to watch this peru game.

If you need some help, trying understand what I'm referencing maybe @MikeyC can help.....

@Montez is right about the quality of this tournament.

It doesn't touch the 94, 98 and 2006 tournaments.

We aren't seeing amazing performances outside of CDot vs Spain and Xhaka versus the Serbs.

No young players really stepping up and while attacking play is awesome and I love not seeing 0-0 matches, we are seeing lack of CMs, strikers, and centerbacks. The sport has been trending that way for a while.

The quality of the sport is declining even though this tournament has been amazing entertainment wise.

Some people only want to watch close games and some people want to the best teams firing on all cylinders.

It's like that Super Bowl blowout thread I had before. Blowouts are not bad when you are watching the dominant teams performing at their peaks, I find it highly entertaining and usually more entertaining than seeing two poor teams in a close dogfight.
