Was hoping for a breh too but Himesh is a dope actor.
Also I doubt Ryan Coogler will be the showrunner. He’ll develop, direct the series premier and stay onboard as an executive producer but the series day to day will be ran by somebody else. If Coogler was actually going to be the one in charge i’m sure he would have cast a brotha.

I think that's my biggest worry. Ironheart (I don't think it was as bad as people say) didnt have a great show runner/creative behind it.
Glad he's directing/writing a couple episodes, but shyt can go left quickly with not having boots on the ground.
First couple of episodes will have to be bangers to keep people on board/push back against the hate.

Haven't watched it, but it looks mid.Showrunner for the Copenhagen Test
This will be a litmus test on if Ryan is trying to hire the best people or just being a good friend/
Ironheart was with a friend from college in charge.This is giving another woman a shot at showrunning.
DDC, from Shang Chi/Spider-Man Brand New Day followed the same formula as Coogler.for Wonder Man. Put his name on a show & direct the pilot/first couple of episodes.
However, he hired an experienced/highly successful Showrunner from Brooklyn 99. Im all for diversity, but don't fukk up your credibility doing it either.
Im good with the casting, but understand people being suspect. Its one thing if he hired two black actors and was on set everyday to see that vision through.
I hope its good cause he's one of the few black creatives that actually has power.
