Sometimes people like what they like as kids, and then they get 17-21 and discover alcohol, weed, hoes, etc and get into what their peers are into, then boomerang back into what they liked as kids around 28-29.

They do know but they would rather force people into star roles. They're still trying to make Reigns happen.![]()

I see a lot of kids at the shows still. Kids dressed up like Cena or wearing New Day shirts or little girls dressed as Sasha and Bayley. WWE has the ability to draw in the younger viewer but they don't have the ability to KEEP THEM. Mainly because they push their own agendas.
That's the main problem. I admit, I have a sickness. I will probably always check for wrestling (though I have scaled way back). Most people won't. These kids will grow up and then say "hold up, this shyt fukking sucks :cousins: " and then they move on to something else.

This is so TRUE. I remember being in 5th Grade (2007) and everybody was a WWE fan, fast forward 10 years later and mostly everyone I know stopped fukkin with it and the number one reason is that "It's not the same any more" or "It's boring" both of which are true statements. Another thing is that a lot of people are just not fukking with the current crop of wrestlers, that's why when guys like Goldberg and Taker comes back, the public interest in WWE goes up. WWE just hasn't been able to create that next star. They tried to do it with Roman but he will never get a good reaction.
shyt, I still watch RAW and even then I don't get that same feeling that I did back then. It's become more of a chore and I spend more time looking at the Raw thread than I do the actual show.
It's also very telling that most TSC posters were looking forward to the Angle HOF announcement than any of the current storylines![]()

I feel what you're sayin but also the truth is, if you're 21 now and you expect to feel the same way about wrestling as you did when you were 11... it ain't gonna happen no matter how good it is or isn't, breh. When I was 10, you couldn't pull me away from wrestling- this was during the Hogan/Savage/Warrior/Sting/Flair/etc. era. I watched every wrestling show that came on TV. 10 years later, the Monday Night Wars were poppin' but at 20 yrs old, I wasn't markin' out like when I was 10 and I believed everything... sometimes I think older wrestling fans are forever chasing somethin' they're never gonna catch, and that plays a big part of why they're less able to enjoy that shyt. Hell, if you liked it in 2007, you should LOVE it in comparison cause '07 was packed with trash.![]()
