stop with all the pseudo-intellectual condescenion and have a real conversation.
the way YOU structured your statement(?) was clearly in a manner that lead me to believe that was the question you were asking.
anyway, no one said that if you don't have a million dollars you are poor and its insulting and dishonest for you to suggest such.
the issue is that we live in a country claiming to be all about equality and equal opportunity for all, yet somehow the people who physically built the country brick by brick are somehow still the poorest group in said country. it has nothing to do with wanting to be a millionaire and everything to do with wanting to be able to have at least 10-20k in the bank.
to be able to not directly depend on government (even though whites have created a government that is all about handouts- summarily for them and them only) and maintain the levels of poverty that lead directly to the ignorance, hatred, and degenracy on display by many black americans today.
not to mention, to your earlier point, as the wealth gap becomes noticeably larger and larger, you WILL need at least a million to be able to function in some semblance of how a human trying to fulfill maslows hierarchy would (personally i dont care for trinkets, but i am not everyone).
in order for any capitalist society to function, there MUST be a designated underclass. that currently appointed under class( for the last 500+ years or so) is specifically black americans living is what is known as the USA, with your average white american willing to turn a blind eye to this irrefutable fact, due to a myriad of things, mostly the minute priviliges they are ALLOWED to maintain, (wealth, not having to be looked at like theres a bomb strapped to your chest, less social anxiety, not being murdered by race soldiers, just to name a few things).
any other questions?
Your ignorance or poor reading comprehension isn't psuedo-intellectuallism or condescension on my part. It simply is a fact.
Either read and come prepared to discuss what is actually written or I'm not wasting my time arguing somethign with you I never argued in the first place.
I structured my statement clearly, I specifically refered to growth rate in milliion dollar black households, and asked if any research was done as to why they think that isn't occuring. To this you poorly infered from your own laziness in reading that I some how black families are poor, something I never stated.
So do better and read and don't feel ashamed when you are wrong and don't read, own up to your mistake and move on.
The US has never been about equality or equal opportunity for all. This is a country where initially only landowners could vote, non-whites were viewed as beasts (blacks and native americans), women couldn't vote, and the current government was created in secret by a bunch of elitists in hiding for their own benefit.
Blacks don't and never had to be dependent on government to accumulate wealth, the government was used to make us dependent and drive us out of the marketplace though when we were accumulating wealth. Sadly we have multiple generations of blacks that now champion and seek to protect the very government policies designed to economically cripple black americans and make us dependent. Regulation of businesses that up market entry to those with money, minimum wage that drive low skilled laborers out of the market of employment, fed reserve banking that puts banking infrastructure into a white supremacist controlled system that actively works against black american interests, and etc.
No you don't need at least a million dollars to be able to function or have semblance of a comfortable life, this is absurd on its face and you provide no proof to actually substantiate this claim.
Nope capitalism doesn't require a underclass to function actually, just individuals willing to trade goods and services voluntarily for money or other good. That is all capitalism is, voluntary exchange, atleast Lesizz-faire capitalism. That said to try to link white supremacy to capitalism is absurd, white supremacist views were held by communists and other socialists, it based on a mental fear of blacks, as far as I can see, its irrational and strange but it has little to do with sustained underclass and more to do with a psychological need for blacks to be inferior to whites.
As for questions, I answered your questions because I'm writing somethign and I'm bored. Like I said in the future, you want to have a conversation that is actually informed, take the time to actually read what is written and to actually reply to what is written, instead of making up arguments in your head.
