Do you know how many hip hop forums there are though and how many people post on them?:usure:

Tons. It's not just the booth. As I said before this aint the 90's when it was a relatively small group of nerds posting on a few hip hop boards with minimal traffic.

And why does being on the net in general not count in this debate?

no chit dog. I was posting on forums a good 16-17 years before the booth existed. you aint saying nothing my man. it wasn't no small group of nerds back then neither. theres way more nerds & weirdos posting on boards nowadays actually. theres a reason why the "only on the internet" term wasn't created until the past decade. honestly, if I didn't discover message boards and catch the bug back then, and just got exposed to it now instead, I wouldn't f*ck with these boards at all.

im not saying message boards aren't big but youre very much exaggerating.

online & offline conversations are like night & day. the funny thing is that there wasn't as much of a disparity between the two back in the day.

What are your thoughts on TM101?

album was heat but it kinda came off as one long song. not feeling the fillers either.

the recession was better actually. but I understand why it wasn't as popular.

also, I said the following a couple pages ago:

I like jeezy but meh.

tm101 falls under the "get rich or die tryin" category. classic impact, but not classic quality.

and another thing with tm101 is that it wouldn't have had nearly as much impact if it came out in a better era.

one of those albums that get the classic title by default just because it was amongst the best out during a forgettable era.
