Decatur where its greater
You're trippn, high end Japanese interiors are always next level when it comes to fit/finish and build quality. on the right of the shifter is a trackpad for the screen and all the functions including a/c radio/ nav incorporated right there @ the armrest. Look at the full LED gauge cluster lifted straight from the $400k LFA.

Anyways it's just a picture, if you were to get inside and start touching stuff, you would prob have a different opinion.
I've sat in plenty at auto shows.

The gauge cluster is dope, no issue there.

Maybe its just a preference thing because I hate that mouse-track pad thing Lexus uses. Rather a knob. But you can't tell me the area directly below the clock looks premium.

I agree on the track pad, at least it a step up from touch screens. For some reason I've noticed the Germans hate touchscreens :pachaha: and they all use the knob on the console which IMO is better since the screen can be moved far back and away to allow better use of the dash.

My next vehicle will be a tundra might not be the 4x4 version though

I live in the Midwest and we get snow out here and I go into a lot of rural regions so I'd personally never buy a truck without 4x4.

If u live down south or out the West it's prolly OK.

You must work for Toyota? U constantly bring up the tundra. Going based purely off memory. Toyotas pickups have constantly been out classed by American pickups for as long as I can recall. I'd have to sit down and actually look at the numbers but I'm betting it's still true. For all things that matter. Mpg. Towing. Cargo. Resale Toyouta usually lags in those. Guess if u just like they way they look.

I'm biased to a degree my self working for GM. But I believe Dodge Rams and Fords outclass the tundra also.

I could be wrong and maybe things changed in the last few years.

Nah I ain't talking about nikkas copping two year old luxury cars off auto trader or I would've said that (which its nothing wrong with either). I'm talking straight brand new from the dealership when they copped the car type shyt so bold doesn't fit for this discussion on top of not spending half their money either.

I agree with the thread shaming part but its moreso for me cause it usually is coming from guys that truth be told can't afford a luxury car even if they wanted one. When that's the case as it is most times these things come up I look at dudes a little suspiciously. Its just hard not to esp when IRL people that have the money to comfortably do this (and some that aren't comfortable lol) aren't on the well see you should save and blah, blah, blah. The person telling you this savings stuff is also not caked up most times so why would I take advice from them anyway on getting/saving money?
I would agree with this this is how tisha campbell got in trouble

That's one person for every one of her you got just as many if not more who don't have that problem so that's why I think it still stands. It just always comes off as hater stuff cause being realistic we don't about the next man finances. If somebody money goes funny we'll be like that's fukked up but that's about it when its not family/friends that's another reason why when cats start this stuff I'm usually like nah fam.

Cars are on the verge of driving themselves. We're on the verge of them electric vehicles being mainstream. They seem to be hovering the $30k range. Will those cars be worth it to own?
shyt should have happened years ago tho. In 24 hours, Tesla doubled what established brand do in a month.

They not going to cost 30k for decent options yet and like I've said most people aren't even driving around with 30k cars and that's real. Maybe once they do and more people get charging options then it can take off but most people don't have no damn charging stations for it to be mainstream. We will see though

The majority of people spend less than 1 hour a day in their car, total.

It just gets you from point a to point b, just get a reliable brand with a solid warranty packaged with it and has decent modern technological toys.

Leather? Why? Clothe is just fine. Again, most people spend less than 1 hour a day in their car.

I'm basically saying there is no reason for anyone to get anything other than a modern toyota corolla:

2016-toyota-corolla-front_10677_032_640x480_040.png

MSRP: From $17,300
MPG: Up to 30 city / 42 highway
Curb weight: 2,800 to 2,875 lbs
Horsepower: 132 to 140 hp
Fuel tank capacity: 13.2 gal

Everything you need. Reliable. Fuel efficient. Roomy. Good features for good price. Resale value very high. What else do you need. :manny:

Please explain to me otherwise.

Fair point but there are things that experienced car owners (with means) come to expect out of their whips.

A Corolla has an excessively loud cabin with tons of road/wheel noise. Steering is loose as fukk and a strong gust of wind will have you feeling like it will topple over. Then, what about options like heated steering wheel, remote start, massage seats, radar cruise control, pano glass roof, adjustable suspension, big nav screen and even tons of leg room?

Next, fit and finishes matter on the interior especially when you touch all the shyt inside on a regular basis. Who wants fake wood details, switches from the corporate parts bin, basic ass tach, no head up display, under powered 4cyl that can't overtake a hoverboard along with doors that feel/sound as thick as a sardine can.
