the newer artists don't want to sing they want to coast on auto tune/voice compression [tory lanez, bryson tiller] so NONE of them sound original

or they wanna be rappers now. [Chris Brown, Trey Songz]

you have to actually search for real r&b to get your fill....but when you do :wow:

Bryson Tiller cant really sing to me. His songs not that good either. So much gas. You fledglings can keep that sh!t.

Ima check for Leon Bridges and Roy Woods tho. And Miguel's Wildheart was good.
I aint gonna lie buzzin, it took me a month or two to like his music, but once it clicked :demonic: give it a few more spins

What about tyrese....what about miguel ....what about rico love who dropped a very underrated album last year. I'm a Marshall ambrosia fan to. D'angelo album was dope. ...just cause R&B without auto is the only thing being played dosent mean other have strayed away romantic the roots of R&B.

Bro nobody wants to sing anymore it's so weird.

Every female singer does that same little ethereal voice. shyts wack. I'll give it to the weeknd because he at least tries to carry his voice and hold a long note it may not be as strong as Kci or anything but he tries

Even singers have to make music for the stripclubs today. Singers aren't making songs that displays their TRUE singing capabilities. The singers you named had "soul" in their music. Thats gone now. There's no incintive for a young up and coming singer to craft a song like this:

Music that sounds like that gets little to no mainstream play today. Up and coming vocalists who wants to make a living off their singing ability, has to make generic and "ratchet" club music for a better chance at that.

A new Boys II Men, Brian McKnight, Carl Thomas, Maxwell, etc exists but the type of music that could display their true vocal abilities get little to no shine today
