It's always going to be calories in vs calories out. Junk food is usually condensed calories that don't fill you up and keep you hungry. A snickers bar is like 300 calories. I can have a full plate of food that's 300 calories though.

People on these junk food diets like to leave out that they're only eating once or twice a day in the first place. If I'm on a 2000 calorie diet goal and I eat once for the day and it's 1000 calories of ice cream then it works out in my favor in terms of losing weight.
Exactly

Everytime I hear these health magazines or health hustlers like Dr Oz on TV say this, I laugh to myself :mjlol:

- Weight loss is simply understanding how heavy foods or meals are. If you just consistently keep eating lighter meals for a sustained period of time, then weight loss would happen instantly

- How "healthy" a food is has nothing to do with it's ability to help you lose weight

- About 5 years ago, I lost 30 pounds eating fast food and junk food. And ate like one grapefruit

- For instance I would go to the candy store and eat Snickers, potato chips, cheese nips, honey bun, ice cream, etc and play basketball. And that would be the only thing I ate that day. But I would lose weight dramatically

- Junk food, although "unhealthy", are light as hell

- Conversely, I would eat a healthy full sized home cooked meal, and my weight would stay the same. No matter how much I exercise

The key is when you lose that weight, THEN you can focus on eating healthy

You nikkaz post Some of the dumbest shyt on here :laff:

A lot of misinformed people taking the calories in, calories out thing too literal. All calories are not created equally. Basically your body is like a car you fill it with junk and treat it like shyt it will reflect that eventually; that lifestyle will catch up with you. If you fill your body with good stuff and treat it well. It will show in the long run.

You eat healthily...for your health. I don't understand how shyt some people must feel when they live on greasy rubbish. It's no wonder people stay hopped up on stimulants just to function.

It's still about calories in vs calories out when it comes to weight.

Just keep the calories down. It doesn't matter what you eat as long as you do that. Thing is high caloric food like junk food can be less filling and easier to fill up on. And it's even easier to drink a ton of calories because of pop and other sweet drinks

I hate threads like these. I use to do this but it will catch up to you. I'm 39 and ate whatever I wanted when I was younger and it caught up to me eventually. Your body needs certain nutrients to function at peak efficiency.

I lost 30 pounds 5 yrs ago with this method. Ya'll nikkas try so hard for your online friends :dead::dead::dead:
Youre most likely an ectomorph with a naturally high metabolism so its easy to gain weight...

...or youre simply crash dieting(which isnt new, btw) and think that your sudden weight loss means something. Of course you will lose a lot of weight at first...cuz your body starts consuming muscle mass to sustain itself you fukking idiot, then your metabolism eventually hits a brick wall and your body viciously retains fat from anything you eat to have energy. :mjlol:

Bolded #1 - Hell no :mjlol:. I'm 6ft around 230, broad shoulders, muscular, body of a football player

Bolded #2 - Growing up I had the exact opposite. Now it's pretty ok. Actually when I lost the weight is when the metabolism got better

Bolded #3 - Wait what? Ya'll are acting like I'm wearing a body sweatsuit while eating twizzlers :russ:

Alot of ya'll are overthinking it. Like I said it's a myth by the media, losing weight is not that hard. Especially if you regularly exercise or busy with school/work

The 2 key ways to lose weight is drinking alot of water (something people who supposedly want to lose weight don't do), and eat one meal a day. The body is not meant for you to eat 3 meals a day. But those Health Hustlers won't tell you that

It's literally that easy. Eat a couple snacks throughout the day, eat an orange or banana, and make something small (say a box of Popeye's fries) as your main meal. That light meal would make you drop pounds instantly
