Certain “elements,” so in other words, young, Black, and ethnic minorities, right?
Sentiments like this are why my whole stance on being courteous and going on about humanity “this and that”, changed for the better because people are full of shyt.
I've realized that this world is filled with people like you who smile in one's face and claim to be morally righteous, decent, humanitarian, etc, while at the same time holding prejudice and stereotypical perceptions about one based on their complexion/race that comes to reveal itself in moments like this.
Hypothetically speaking, If one was truly morally decent, doing an act out of kindness, they wouldn't succumb to expressing their own racial prejudice and biased perceptions about individuals, and they wouldn't become racial, expressing prejudiced thoughts all because someone took a few extra bags of chips and some juices; that alone tells me they weren't doing it for the people, but rather for themselves.
I'm Black, and the world and the people never gave a shyt about my humanity unless it benefited them or used me as a proxy to make themselves feel like good samaritans, helping them sleep well at night. A Black person being courteous in this society has no benefits except getting yourself taken advantage of and I refuse to be the mule any longer.
