Everyone else with a lick of sense and understanding of basic history knows why we share this land with many different people and cultures. Let alone people who have been occupying this part of the world damn near to begin with.

I don’t think people realize how much of a divider the Rocky Mountains are. It literally splits both Mexico and The U.S in two. Most of Mexico is mountains except the most western and eastern regions.

Cali being mostly Mexican shouldn’t surprise anyone. It’s actually the furthest point from Spain and it’s conquerors in the country, separated further by mountains.

Cali being so full of Mexicans and Asians should surprise no one geographically alone.

Look at a terrain map of the world. It gives way more context to populations.
