I have nothing against age differences in relationship as long as both parties have reached a certain maturity, like if he was 49 dating someone 25 or older. They're both adults who know what they want.

But a 19 year old... Where are this girl's parents?? How do you let your 19-year-old daughter debase herself by being a sugar baby to some creepy old guy who pisses on underage girls I guess money does buy off people's dignity sometimes

i guess she is a minor still because the legal age to drink in america is 21 i believe

but to vote, the age is 18? you can go to war for your country before you are able to drink?

America is so backwards.

i have seen this question many times "how old is 16 really ?" but never "how old is 19 really ?"

it seems to me that her parents really don't care about their daughter. this is bad parenting. really bad. shame on them.

Well you must not be thinking then because a lot of guys when this happen have more people against them than for them. Its like its some strange age policy employed by mainly women to keep older guys all to them,or something.

We live in a patriarchy. There is a noticeable advantage Men have in romantic relationships that is reinforced by social constructs, mores, and taboos. You either believe its there or not and I'm not going to argue with you or anyone else about it.

In 6,000 years of human civilization, this social dynamic has only been remotely challenged for 40 years.

And this challenge has pretty much happened exclusively in Western Society.

What I'm getting at here is that women who are contemporaries of men they are dating already have enough problems being recognized as a valuable partner in a relationship.

So i get the feeling of unease when a women is being pursued by a male suitor with far more experience and socioeconomic status.

Even worse when the woman herself is barely a woman and probably lacks the confidence, knowledge and resources to stand up for herself.
