I listen to a very broad range of young rappers. Yall give no attention to the dudes spittin like you hip hoppity hopper fans.

I think hes dope. But nah my generation is mumbling and drugs. :mjpls:

Facts. I've made threads on here posting the type of shyt posters on here like but most the time they don't even get replies or get like a reply or two, except for my last Sha Hef thread

Posters on here the first to call trap rappers a bunch of wave riders and copy cats but it's funny how they won't even check out an unknown artist unless they get a big feature or a big co-sign

Trap rap and gossip gets more attention than any other shyt on this site that isn't some "who's better Kool G Rap or AZ" thread which is funny considering how posters always act like they are too good for it all. And are "real hip hop fans" yet, they never in threads that are made of cats spitting real lyrical shyt, but they'll be in a thread discussing how Young Thug a fakkit or how 50 cent made an IG post

I would not mention 2nd ii none to make my point.
All cause they did exactly that and that is why they did not get play in the Mecca.
all because they were the original culture thieves of the new school way of thought from the west coast.
who are why west coast acts caught all the flack they got if they got any.
Past that, tho.
You made a great point just shore up the historical facts a bit.
You would disqualify your point in general if I did not know what you meant.
When you brought up a random group.
Just this time your random group was actually the group who actually did the same thing lil Uzi vert did out west and triggered the whole Mecca shuns west coast acts if they violate thing.

Other than, great point about proving your worth but 2ndiinone.
Is/ was the actual group who created not rhyming.
when asked from a west coast perspective, tho.

Yeah, I pulled that name out of a hat.
At the time I was typing I was thinking Hi-C, AMG, or 2nd II None...and I went with them because I figured
more people might know them. But yeah, I agree with what you're saying.

:old: mad again. It was 01 they hated. 05 they hated. 010 they hated, now its 016 and they still hating on the young generation

if young dudes were dope and next level it would get said.
young cats just are not dope and are not next level.
they can pay a critic at a blog, or pr firm.
yet, you can not fool the real consumers and the real consumers actually bought or surveyed why they are not buying these records, to this day.
these artist in the young gen are not skilled and refuse to do the research the new school way of thought did to the old school way of thought to make and elongate rap so the new gen got it.

you can't be twenty sumfin and your base level of lyricism is twenty years outdated.
plus, you have no rubrick or technical base in a forty two year old drawing culture, genre and business.

i could tell you pulled their name out of a hat to make your point.
i knew what you were saying in jest.
i just pointed it out that someone could hold you accountable if they did not know what you were infer'n to.
to make the point all because text is generally tone deaf.
so, on face value and not familiar with you as a poster.
your comment could have been eaten alive from the wrong reference.
i just know what you meant, in your point and did not hold that against you like it could have.
which would have been bad, because the point you made had extreme relevence to the convo.

I read the arguments made by both sides if this "old vs young" hip hop debate.. And quite frankly, both sides are full of sh1t and need to stfu..

The youth are too uneducated and ignorant and the old heads are too closed minded..

A lot of old heads like the new shyt though on both sides (Future, Young Thug, Migos as well as Kendrick, J. Cole, Drake etc...) I know 40+ dudes who love future and they also still bump 90s-00s shyt.

but it seems like the young dudes just don't care or understand how much this shyt means to people, its not just about the music.:yeshrug:

You can't just shyt on history, nikkas worked very hard for his goofy ass to even get the time of day to speak.

If this is what he wants to do, so be it... but lets call it like it is. He's nothing special just like 75% of these youngins doin the same drowned out garbage.

808s and hi hats can't save you when you really get in the studio with nikkas who can spit.

like dude does not realize,...
yo, they don't have to have you on the radio to sing or whatever you do.
they can go back to stricktly old school rnb and rock.
then, phase you dudes completely out and pull the stuck up corporate roll and not have you there at all,..i mean look like you don't exist.
they did the shyt before, y'know.
so, to disrespect on some cultural shyt when you infringing upon shyt that hiphop built.
plus, personally...disrespecting the fact i come from the guy who singlehandidly created and authenicated the draw for battling on the radio and the visual of the battle and then freestyling off the top of the dome in another time after that.
i find it to be a slap in the face just personally.
all because i exactly come from the pedigree of the guy who made it.
so, lil uzi vert can showcase and amplify his draw on the radio like this.

like he even gets to have an interview portion because where i come from was that distinctly skilled.
they decided it was draw lengthening to interview some rapper.
who was so talented that they were forced to interview him.
when, originally none of this shyt existed.
before a guy with his jaw wired shut beat everyone in cali on the radio rapping off the actual top of his head with no writtens.
then, came back to cali afterward and made freestyling on the radio actual verses off the head clean with no battle a draw as well.
so, this dude is a slap in the face and does not realize.
you could not be there all together, tho.

See this is why this argument keeps going in circles..

One side doesnt respect the history and the other side doesn't respect the evolution...

They should be able to coexist in the same space..

The funny thing is if KRS was on Ebro and said he didn't want to freestyle to "no Metro Boomin, Mike Will, Young Chop, Zaytovan bullshyt !!" older heads would be biggin him up.. Even though it would be the same level of disrespect to one's craft...

well first i am the protege of who my favorite artist is.
so, i actually became the protege and actually created the skill set for real with a real legend, that is off the head or written.
so, this is not some connection from afar shyt.
plus, i wrote the reviews on the artist in the south and other regions, first.
for the past twenty plus years, that others were not able to connect culturally to.
including why they would be the influential draws they would.
plus, it reads like a who's who of how we arose to this point in north american rap.

so, even if you asked me this and i wrote it out.
you would not be able to criticize me at all.
as i wrote the reasons a lot of artist who are influential.
are credible culturally and skillwise as an ACTUAL EMCEE.
when no one else did at all.

like most of the southern artist that got us to this point.
i was the only guy who culturally gave them credibility and disputed the errant cultural criticism.
with actual content based on their aptitude technically and performance wise as actual emcees.
from the perspective of the highest drawing act in underground rap, too.
so, i am not just some critic who is talking bullshyt about skill, culture or impact.
i am actually the very artist who drew in the underground from a grassroots level as an act.
when, most of my contemporaries in the mainstream, never did so at all.

Easier to make edits given the window phone server issues.
I sometimes may not have cursor control.
to go really deep into a non-hard return line to change it.
So, I have to hard return so I can edit it if need be.
