These smart phones have basically run out of innovation at this point.

Yeah. Make it so my phone can charge off movement and/or light and solar energy.

na those are too gimmicky imo , they just need to legit work on better battery tech , ive never been much a phone jumper and am pretty much going to keep my S3 until its no longer working but the only thing that would even make me consider a new phone is something with a new type of battery tech

If they could get those working properly, I wouldn't call those gimmicky, it would very useful.

Even if it were overly expensive...with that niche market for 'I'm rich as fukk' phones that typically have ostentatious builds yet are not even close to being as good as either flagship Android, iOS, or Windows phones, I never understood why none of those companies went after perfecting value-added rich phones. I guess lower profit margins. :ld:

Something in the realm of possibility I'd like to see now is some kind of projector to show what's on your screen on a wall.

Future things, phones that diagnose sickness and/or disease.

Advanced/intuitive AI.

Longer battery life.

Holographic projections.

Right now I have no reason to upgrade my HTC One.

Solar charging and hand powered charging may sound convenient but there probably not that easy to implement peep this

Why You Can't Buy A Solar-Powered Cellphone... For Now | CleanTechnica

The panels just wouldn't collect enough energy and that's not even counting how many people are actually gonna leave there phone in the sun to even charge? what bout if u work all day by the time u get out its dark? etc etc

Mechanical chagrining same thing more of a hassle than what its worth, i would honestly like to see this spend time and energy and better battery tech

Am a conspiracy theorist though , i think there purposely holding back on givings us 2-3 day battery life, if u ask anybody what there main complaint about there cell phone is there going to say battery life , my S3 with moderate use can barely make it through a full 8 hour die before it needs a recharge

Its crazy when you think about it how the less advanced phones can for days, my mom has non feature phone that can go 4 days in between charge without any use, ive tested it before and if i just leave my S3 with out using it at all (maybe to send 1-5 text message TOPS) it can up 12 hours only.
