This I dont know. Thats a good question. I believe the discount theatres have a different type of agreement but I dont know. I would think studios have some level of control since it is their property. Then you gotta consider its always new movies dropping. So even if you can show it as long as you want, do you really wanna hold on to this movie that people arent checking for anymore but you get a higher cut instead if making room for the new movie that is gonna bring more people and in turn make your more money in concessions?
They ain’t making shyt when I got my food in my boo purse :ohlawd:

I heard they make the majority of their profit off Concessions, and only look to break even on the ticket sales.
More like Gas stations in that regard. The main attraction is the fuel, but they mainly profit of the convenience store items inside.
