To tell the truth, Lebron got lucky as hell.

Not only the various injuries/suspensions (nothing big, yet each one was just barely enough to get the Cavs imagining they could actually win), but you also have Kyrie playing at his all-time best, TT getting underrated for absolutely incredible defense, and even Love actually showing up in the end. Plus GS simply laying an egg in Game 7.


Lebron got lucky. But he also played the greatest final three games of a Finals ever. To have an all-time great comeback, you sorta have to have both of those things combine. Every player gets some combination of good luck and shyt luck in their career - Lebron's has certainly had both already, including a lot of the shyt luck - and he made the absolute most of this chance. Sure, it caused him to get more credit for this win then he probably deserved, but he had been getting less credit than he deserved before, and it was STILL one of the greatest Finals performances in history no matter how much you consider the GS injuries...so I have no problem with him basking it the glory at all.
