How about NBA empower the players themselves. If a player thinks they can do their own negotiation without an agent then let them do it. Keep that option open. If a player wants to concentrate on their game then they could simply hire an eligible agent. At the end of the day i would imagine it would be wiser for a player to hire an experienced agent who holds a degree.
