Why does the NCAA(mostly white)get to make the rule? To your point take it back to the NBAPA(most black)and let them adjust/agree on the rule..

Rich Paul is an NBA problem...not a NCAA issue. The NCAA is simply trying to encourage players to stay longer. Rich Paul in the position he in because of bron. There is a reason there arent any other rich Paul's out there. They didnt have the benefit of befriending lebron, and most dont have the expertise/skillset to build a name as rich/bron did with Klutch. The rule doesnt prevent athletes from signing who they want, it just says that if you do you wont be eligible because the NCAA has an interest in giving players realistic feedback and not just wolf tickets, cause they want those players back.

Nah yall are just blatantly wrong and were misled by folks that didnt do their research. The rule states that a player cant return to school if they hire an unqualified agent. Now ask yourself, how does that affect rich Paul or any type of rich Paul archetype? Rich paul has only signed elite prospects and current NBA players. Rich Paul will not be signing players that may go undrafted. The NCAA has no interest in preventing rich Paul from signing the players he has signed, elite prospects. The only threat rich Paul poses to the NCAA is signing players straight outta high school, and if that happens the player is ineligible anyways. So yea do your research next time.

This rule is designed to funnel would be undrafted/late 2nd rounders back to college for another year.

Yes they care cause the one-and-done rule is close to expiring and they need a re-course to keep athletes at the school. The NCAA has a huge issue with players entering the draft when they shouldnt have due to the advice of those who arent qualified to be giving them advice.
