I was under the impression you needed all 3 of those criteria. I don’t think he has a BA

You do need all three of those criteria and yes this is new requirements is set up to prevent a player's family members, homeboys and hustlers he know from the block or his hood from being an agents straight out of the gate.

People love running with narratives and jumping on to what the group is thinking. How does this prevent another Rich Paul situation? NOWHERE in that tweet did it say a player COULD NOT be represented by an agent with no bachelors degree. The only thing it prohibits is the player being able to return to school. That's a NCAA thing, not a NBA thing. People really throw all common sense and logic out the window when it comes to LeBron James and Rich Paul.

This won’t have any effect at all. There’s nothing wrong with this.

:dwillhuh:

This is a poll tax/literacy test :dwillhuh:

:dwillhuh:

fukk these crackers

There’s nothing c00nish about it. Rich Paul hires agents while he owns the agency.

Nothing changes. Rich Paul just has to make sure the agents who handle his clients have a college degree. This is what Jay does with Roc Nation Sports.

Oh yeah
#ADOSGANG

There's something like 15-20x as many White men with college degrees than Black men. But you're cool with this so long as only those guys rich enough to hire other degreed agents underneath them can still work. Meaning ZERO opportunity for entry-level Black men with no degree.

Why am I not the least surprised for it to be you saying this too.

Did they even specify what the degree had to be in?? :heh:

Rich Paul has agents under him, years of experience and has nearly 1 billion in player contracts himself but his fringe player wouldn’t be allowed to return to school if he wasn’t drafted because Rich Paul doesn’t meet the NCAA criteria, but someone with 3 years, a client on a vet minimum and a bachelors in agriculture can have their client go back to school???

Only way you should need to take an exam is if you aren’t currently an agent of an active NBA player. Fukk a degree and 3 years experience.

:laff:it was only a matter of time. Every league in sports has requirements for agency representation but let's default to the "NCAA mad rich Paul and bron are black" narrative. There are far more cases of handlers misleading and swindling young college athletes than there are success stories. Usually if an athlete is worth a damn he hiring qualified representation... and price is irrelvant to this discussion. Agents arent charging college athletes out the gate.. you stay exposing yourself you sound like an idiot.

No player is signing to rich Paul to test the waters so this is a moot point.

I didn't say shyt about LeBron or Rich Paul so you can STFU. And I didn't say shyt about agents charging college athletes either. And a bad handler can swindle a young college athlete just as easily whether they have a college degree or not. You are an embarrassingly bad poster.

You are completely fukking illiterate regarding White Supremacy if you don't see what this is doing. Having a college degree means literally nothing regarding whether you are a qualified agent or not. It's a poll tax, which is common in many occupations - an arbitrary bar established in order to protect the "in" group and keep out the competition. And in almost every case, the "in" group is predominantly White men and Black folk are predominantly out.

There are 50 million White Americans with a college degree. There are only 1.9 million Black men with a college degree. You do the math.

That's why it's a poll tax. It's an arbitrary requirement meant to keep certain people out and protect the status quo power as much as possible.

They don't care what your degree is in, they just require that you have one, because it's a sign of status and they want to keep the paychecks in the hands of the same people who already have that kinda status.

Nah yall are just blatantly wrong and were misled by folks that didnt do their research. The rule states that a player cant return to school if they hire an unqualified agent. Now ask yourself, how does that affect rich Paul or any type of rich Paul archetype? Rich paul has only signed elite prospects and current NBA players. Rich Paul will not be signing players that may go undrafted. The NCAA has no interest in preventing rich Paul from signing the players he has signed, elite prospects. The only threat rich Paul poses to the NCAA is signing players straight outta high school, and if that happens the player is ineligible anyways. So yea do your research next time.

This rule is designed to funnel would be undrafted/late 2nd rounders back to college for another year.

Rich Paul signed Talen Horton-Tucker before the draft this year. He was a one and done player that went 46th to the Lakers.
