You could qualify to go to Officer Training School and come out as a Second Lieutenant. They make close to 3K a month plus benefits.

And thats just base pay


But like I've told other cats, I would go AF first.. Maybe Army/Navy next. It all depends on you though. Talk to every branch and see what they'll offer you. Make sure you get that shyt in writing too

I've been out a year and its still not easy getting readjusted to civilian life...sh1t I don't even consider myself one...???

But now I get paid for life free college and I have the honor of being a 2 time Iraqi war veteran...

So think long and hard about the sacrifices you will have to make...because once you take that oath don't get in there complaining about politics or anything for that matter because You will be uncle Sam's goon and you will not be FREE...

You can complain all the time just not on public forums. All cats did in the Navy and Airforce was complain. My homeboy still complains about having to go into work and I'm like bruh.. You're an E6 who gets to go home to his fam every night, your wife doesn't work, and your job isn't physically demanding... You should be the last one complaining


But it'll change you if you let it. I've changed but I've basically been on my own overseas for past 8 years (only 1 family member came to visit and I've probably gone home 4 times. Once for funeral) so I been doing everything on my own basically (no wife/kids and I got my reasons).

My brother was in marines 5 years and it didn't change him a bit

Because all your doing is making your own life miserable... Why complain when u can't change a god damn thing...best to be a good soldier and shut your mind and soul off if you want to be a successful soldier that is and be "happy"

And you know just as well as I do that everyones background is different..I for 1 was selling dope and gang banging in 2004 when I enlisted...so will I ever be the same? Hell to the No ...I was ready to die when I joined but became enlightened while serving in Iraq...like I said I will never be the same and more than likely Op won't either ...shyt I went to fort benning and did basic training twice in a row(day 1 restart) cuz I had an attitude sagging my pants walked with a bop too hard and wore my hat like T.I. let my drill Sgt tell it...but I wasn't gonna quit cuz I wasn't going back to the gutter of Newark Nj
Anyway the Army is a mind fukk so its best op leave all that political shyt at the door or it will be harder on him

The part that interests me is the traveling and the GI Bill benefits.
ASVAB? Not to brag , but I think I will ace that hoe. Took an online practice test and did very well. I approach tests like its do or die

But I dont think they will fukk with me. Ive done time as a juvenile, and not in juvy or camp so Im sure my record is hit

is it just me or do a lot of navy guys always seem depressed? I know being on a ship can drain you but....

they got a bunch of cool jobs you can choose from, their bmt seems pretty easy even compared to the AF (then again im judging off youtube vids)

and they rarely see any close contact combat

so whats the deal?

That's not all the way true...I become concerned about Soldiers when they stop complaining...Once you lose the will to complain or fight it can take a lot out of you.
