I use my income to pay down the debt, take care of home goods shopping, add to the savings and our retirement portfolio, stocks, ect. We have joint accounts for bills and savings. It’s worked fine so far. We both make within $7k of each other income wise, so if we ever divorced, we just split everything down the middle and KIM. The secret is be ye EQUALLY yoked.

But that’s the beauty of it. If she working too and making comparable to him, there’s less justification for crazy alimony pay outs.

If you take the steps to do it right those shyts are air tight..

And at any rate if this is something you want to do(AND YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULD) investigate putting assets and so on in trusts and legal entities PRIOR to marriage..

There are white shoe law firms who explicitly deal with such things..
