Keanu is training for a fictional role, a role he himself acknowledges as fictional. Again, where are the people coming at him as a "studio shooter" for not actually mass murdering Russian gangsters off screen?

People are inspired by movies and seek to mimic what they saw on screen all of the time.
To act as though they aren't inspired by movies/television is intellectually dishonest.

You're deliberately missing the point. John Wick is a mass murdering avenger. Keanu Reeves is a mild mannered actor who is decently skilled in 3 gun competition shooting. There is no comparison to rappers who go on about "living your bars", "realness", and "studio gangsters". This is true. That is not the point being made though. The point he made was these actors are not trying to live their characters lives. Some of those Drill rappers are actually trying to live the life they portray in their music. That causes some people to expect them to be what they portray themselves to be. That can still happen for an actor, but it is less likely since an actor will quickly tell the person that was a character they were playing.
