Why bother debating PhonZhi? He is one dimensional.

He wants rappers to care about anything but money. That alone shows how short sighted he is, I would not care if these rappers fell over and died. They all lack character. To discuss character where there is none is really bogus.

I'm not debating PhonZhi. I agree with him wholeheartedly. I agree that the majority of these rappers have no character. And if they didn't have such an impact on our youth it wouldn't matter. However, because our youth are heavily influenced by them we have to hold these men and women accountable.

We have a lot of problems, and most people who hate us doesn't need hip-hop as reminder. These kids were lost even during the golden era, and crime is pretty low compared to the very bloody 80's and 90's. The problem is broken homes, absent fathers, and lack of character.

The problem is all that plus the decadent and dark thug/gangsta culture that rap has exacerbated.

Add suburbs and rural America too. It's extremely common (unfortunately) that you have people aged 12-18 fukking around with drugs and alcohol.

around the world it begins systematically at an even younger cognitive age.
when, kids partake in this activity.
plus, nikkaz don't realize drinking at 21, is a new concept damn near.
plus, if we did not have to endure children as slaves and had not given children reparations.
American white men would prey on more children than they systematically used to, too.
America used to be WAY WORSE with raising children.
if not for Hitler being the villain he was.
making America have to change its social makeup to position itself as a detractor to nazi-ism.
America would still have the same wild grass style of socialization/non-raising of children , that plagued Germany.
this country has a lot of you fooled because it has no culture.
so, it has no reason to give you the history of its lack of culture and what that means historically and moving into the future.

Its just crazy that the statistics say we are living in one the least violent and crime ridden Eras.

We have a long way to go to peel away all the indifference and apathy + coldness which makes us not care for one another, but there are many factors at play before that child hears his first rap song.

I suspicious of anyone whose argument is very one dimensional.

come home breh. :blessed: This shyt is straight up mental poison to our youth. Remember this quote: "the most effective way to destroy a community is to infect the minds' of its youth". Its not just "rap music", its an entire CULTURE AND LIFESTYLE thats being directly glorified to young, impressionable minds. Look at this:

chief-keef-bang-3-cover-2_1.jpg

This is aimed DIRECTLY at the youth. He LITERALLY looks like a superhero. This is cool as hell to the youth. Look whats in his right hand. A gun(more than likely aimed at another black person). Look at his left hand. A cup of lean. This culture of ignorance is being marketed and aimed at our future( the youth). @Soon I understand that its not the SOLE cause of the black plight, just know that its now an added weapon being used by our oppressors against us.

it is a fact, rap was stripped of its cultural protection mechanism and made into a weapon against any poor people and most importantly black people.
all the way back when easy e was aligning with the Republican party and later on de dre/interscope leaving Warner as a distributor.
which made the chronic.
the first pure gateway for skewed gangsta rap.
being a marketing tool for the prison economy system.
all we have to do us find out what happened behind closed doors for real.
When, the chronic was originally delayed and remarketed with the smoked out van commercial.
nikkaz don't realize how much of a lull it is between.
deep cover the original white label.
deep cover the movie soundtrack, twelve.
the delay of the chronic and the long burn marketing of deep cover the single.
also, how the chronic was strategically delayed till way after masta ase slaughterhouse was released and how massively delayed slaughterhouse was from the original jeep ass nikka twelve as well.
it is a reason those records had distinct delays, I believe.

these cats like @TheBeigeBomber dont understand that this music is helping to continue a MINDSET of ignorance, self-hate, materialism, gang culture and viewing other black people as the enemy. Let me ask yall something. When's the last time one of these rappers rapped about supporting a black business? Whens the last time one of these rappers warned AGAINST the dangers of joining a gang or sipping lean? When's the last time one of these rappers rapped about the REAL cause of the environment that they grew up in, which is white supremacy. When's the last time one of these rappers rapped about solutions to combat white supremacy?

There is a reason why these rapper are mainstream. I do agree that there is an agenda to undermine black youth, and rap is being used as a tool to distract us from empowering ourselves.

Im suspicious of ANYONE who :cape: so hard for music that glorifies the genocide of the black race. True story: Ive went back and forth about this very subject with 2 different posters recently(both of whom i ASSUMED were black) Turns out they were both non-blacks. So i give the side-eye to any poster that comes in here saying that toxic rap has zero affect on the black community. If you're black and of a certain mature mindset, it should be obvious what this rap is doing. Again, not saying that its the sole cause but its definantly a detriment.

Fyi CPS dont give a fukk about these kids and neither do the adopted parents

Those kids are only used as a source of income
I disagree about the CPS not giving a fukk and very few adopted parents do it for money; unless they have a shyt ton of kids in their custody.

In the state of nj, in the inner city, CPS takes the kids from one dysfunctional home and put them in another until they find the right home

Its really a needle in an haystack. I worked with CPS kids and they tell me they were better off at their old home than their new one
